Single channel, 3 knob equaliser, input gain knob, mid shift button and a headphone jack. No line out which is not good. The mid shift button got pressed once and quickly turned off again. I use the amp for practice and I use two live (I use a stereo flanger to use two at once).

I use a Warwick Streamer Standard bass with it (and I use Fender and Ernie Ball cables) and there's no sound problems when playing but when the signal is turned off (using my tuner as a cut off switch) there is a loud enough hum. And the mid shift button turns your lovely bass sound into a horrible horrible noise. Disgusting feature.

I've never had any problems and I transport it all the time and it gets put in several different environments and not once did I have to give out to it!

There is no customer support in Ireland for Trace Elliot products. There isn't even any dealers anymore. If anything goes wrong with the amp I'll probably save up and buy a new amp.

I've been using this amp for a while now and I've gotten a nice sound out of it. My bass sounds good through it both when it's clean or when I apply floor effects. Slapping sounds nice and you can get a very nice warm bass sound. I was playing through a very small practice amp (Fender) before and the Boxer 65 is a world of difference.

I bought my Boxer 65 for about 2 years ago, and since then, I've never had any problem. This small amp is enough versatile for what I play (heavy-metal). I use this amp both for rehearsals and even concerts (directed to the general PA). What I don't understand is why this amp gives 65W (8 ohm) and has a speaker for only 50W (8 ohm)? As far as I know, the speaker should have normally till 25% more power than the amp. Could anybody explain this strange thing?

I use a bass guitar Ibanez GSR200, but at high volumes there is a distortion, or even worth - a noise between the distortion and the noise. Being a small bass amp, there is only one channel with eq. bass, mid, treble and a shift mid button.

Till now, I've never had technical problems with it. Yes, I would use it on a gig w/o backup.

Here is the problem... I don't know any authorized repairing shop in Romania for Trace-Elliot products. I hope there will be now need for that.
The warranty was 1 year.

I play on this amp for around 2 years. I have also a new Marshall AVT150 and I found that the quality is about the same...
If it were stolen or lost, I'd buy it again.
I chose this one because of lower price than others. After that, I discover that this brand is a very serious one... It is a little bit complicate to explain what is the situation of selling the musical instruments in Romania. There is one company in Bucharest which sales new amplification equipment (Vox, Marshall, Rocktron) but most expensive than in the western countries, one that sold Trace-Elliot (I don't know if it still exist) and the representative of Yamaha which is out of question regarding the prices. In rest, everybody is selling used and very used equipment.

65Watts, 12" speaker, single input, bass+mid+treble passive controls, FET preamp, mid boost switch, headphone output (switches spkr off), master volume. No line out. Enough power to play with drummer, guitar and singer. Weights about 16kg, top handle. Easy to transport (lightweight compared to my 27kg Hartke combo)

I play in a rock/pop band. I use different basses: Ibanez with SD Basslines p/u, Yamaha RBX 5 strings, Yamaha TRB 5 strings fretless and Status Graphite Energy bass. This amp loves the 4 string basses but lacks lows on the B-string. Volume needs to be pushed a little to get a nice sound out of it: sounds muddy at low volume. Sound great when slapping!!. Input sensitivity too low, distorts with high output basses. Nice distortion sound: the FET preamp gives tube-like distortion. Don't like the center frequencies of the equalizer, I usually left them in the center position. The mid switch adds a boost in the mids. Too much mids for me, but use it if you wanna be heard. Adds some distortion, boost seems to be in front of the preamp.
The transformer is kinda noisy, don't come too close with single coil P/u... (strat-like hum...)

Very good for practice, for small gigs. Easy to transport, nice sound (even if it lacks lows). Not expensive for the quality. The main reason why I bought it was the sound, the small size and small weight. If it were stolen, I'd get the same. The best would be a gallien-krueger MB150 (weight only 12kg for 150w) but still too expensive.

Equipped with bass, mid and treble controls, a mid shift pre shape switch, a volume control and headphone socket. Not too much variety but it is only a combo. Very little distortion at high volumes.

Piece of crap! Within a couple of weeks and very little use it just quit working. First no sound then no power. It was brand new when I bought it so it lasted a whopping two to three weeks. Had to have all the transistors replaced.

Customer support even worse than the reliability. Store that sold it to me gave me the address of an authorized service center that worked on Trace Elliot equipment. They had it for well over two and a half months! I called many times but they kept saying they either hadn't gotten to it or the parts were on order. (Yes they finally fixed it). Warranty did cover it. Wrote Trace Elliot an e-mail expressing my displeasure and heard nothing....even though their website says they will respond with 24 hours or so. That was over a month ago.

Have owned this amp for about 4 or so months and will probably sell it as soon as I can find something else. Will probably never buy Trace Elliot again, not so much of the equipment but for the customer service. I realize that equipment will sometimes break down even when new. But I would hope that a company of that stature would take a little more pride in their equipment and customer service.
