I took delivery of this cab near the end of 07. It was originally puchased to add some girth and be a stand for my 212. And I bought it on a whim cause it was inexpensive and yet had all the features that I wanted in a 15 inch cab. I play most forms of Rock,Funk,R&B, & Reggae. This Traynor cab will surprise you.

I power this cab with a XS800H Yorkville head. I wasn't really expecting much out of this cab except for a little bottom end for support. Boy was I surprised. By itself I plugged in my G&L L2500 and said whoa. Then I tried my Reverend Brad Houser 5,then my Yamaha BEX4,Godin A4, & my ole Gibby TBird. Now that's a good variety of passive, active, semi hollow and solid bodies, and round wound and flat wound strings. Hot Dang. This cab is meaty not muddy, clear not muffled, and will bounce the booty on the dance floor without punchin the people out. Punch is nice, bounce is better when it comes to dancing. Does the Jamerson/Mowtown,Family Man Marley/Reggae and any Rock n Roll or Country that needs some meat. There's no tweeter for the clickety click crowd but it will do old school poppity pop justice ala Car Wash. And if you are wondering how it handles the B string, I can tell you now that you will never feel the shame of farting out again. Combined with my 212 this cab is awesome in its supporting roll. Two TC115's would just kill 'em.

Traynor/Yorkville folks have always taken care of me when I had any issues. They even fixed my amp for free although it was out of warranty. Uh...you can't do better than that in my book.

I've been playing off and on since I was a kid in 1969. Have owned or played just about everything from Ampeg to Yorkville. If it were lost or stolen I'd get another one. For a straight 15 inch cab this thing will more than hold it's own or blow away any other manufacturers 15.
It is simply straight up bombastic. This is way better than the XC115 Yorkville, although it's no slouch, so don't confuse em. Yup I'm giving this one a Ten in everything because it does everything I want it to do. So if you're thinking about getting a great 15 inch cab do not skip trying this one. Check it out for yourself.
