This Amp is a BEAST. At almost 3 feet wide and 3 feet tall on casters, it can literally take anything you throw at it.
I believe it was made in the 70's which makes sense since its built like a tank.
there are two channels I believe high and low gain 1 & 2. and a "PULL HB" knob on the volume which alters the sound a bit and adds something.
knobs, Volume, Contour. Bass Middle Treble, and Master.
It has a sweet retro looking 750 on the front and under the grill cloth is either an 18" or 15" I cant remember but Ill say I lean towards 18".
I cant think of anything this thing is lacking, it also has a single external 8ohm out and a line out.
Supposedly Unicord was the US distributor for Marshall, so what we have here is a US made Pre-amp and speaker attached to a english marshall solid state amp. Very good combo if you ask me.

I use both single and HB pickups on my bass, and even sometimes have them out of phase. I play blues mostly, some reggae, and some rock/metal, I truly like this amp above all Ive tried, it has a buttery or punchy bass depending on settings, real smooth for blues and real punchy for Metal or rock.
Its basically silent as far as noise unless you crank it to 11 and then you get the usual hiss.
For a bass amp it has just enough options, if I want effects Ill wire them inline.
Its more of a clean sounding bass amp than a distortion, even at high volumes the amp doesnt distort or cut out regardless of what I throw at it.

As I stated before this thing is a tank, its almost 30-40 years old and you can pump some serious bass through it without complaint, the speaker is still going strong and I cant see having a problem with this amp my entire life. Ive heard a little about these amps and they are somewhat prized for their ability to last and sound great. No complaints here, and believe me when I say I am great at finding flaws.

I rate this at the top, I would have to spend some big bucks to get anything near this amps output/quality.
Been playing for some time now, I own a ridiculous amount of gear but only one bass combo, this is it and its all I need, practice/gig/houseparty whatever, this thing can handle it without breaking a sweat. Its almost always a little too loud.
If it were stolen I would want to buy another but Ive never heard or seen another Unicord amp in my entire life. Ive only met a few people who have used one before. I cant imagine it being stolen but if it was I would be on a long quest for a new bass amp from hell.
I love the sound, power, reliability, and simplicity. I also love the retro 750 on the front, many people ask what it is and if Ill sell it, or they ask if its a vintage tube amp since I occasionally use a tube distortion pedal.
Only thing I dislike about it is the weight/size, and it would be great if it had side handles, but I cant bring myself to put a screw in it. Well what can you do, if you want pounding bass you need a decent sized box and sub so the weight comes with the territory. At least its on wheels.
I would like to see another review but I doubt anyone has even heard of it, let alone seen one. I only knew they made some nice guitar amps I had no idea they even made bass amps until I found one. I almost never give all 10's on something but its literally by far my favorite piece of amp gear ever with my old Vintage Ampeg pulling a close second.
