Escort Bass 50. Made in the 70's sometime. Has the smae old 3 EQ that every ampp in the world has. Has a harmonics knob too that adds a twist to the treble, and all in all is a cool effect. One channel can be used at a time, even tho it has a high and a low gain input, but hey its a bass amp, so who needs two. Its pretty solid at 50 watts going into a 12 inch speaker. These old vox amps came with great factory speakers and there is no need to replace them. They sound0 great twenty or even thirty years later.

Sound Quality : 8
It sounds great. Its warm but yet bassy. If you havent heard a vintage amp then its hard to imagine the difference between amps of today and old models, but old amps are valued b/c of their sound. Using a fender P Bass and a Jazz bass through sounds great. It doesnt get noisy even at high volumes, and doesnt distort when played loud.

Reliability : 10
I have never had a problem in the five years i have owned it, and the previous owner hadnt had any either.

Great amp. Is def worth a look. I bought this used over a similar used crate amp, and this was cheaper and better sounding. I am happy with this amp and use it regularly. I have even plugged a guitar into it a couple times and it handled that fine. i def recomend this amp.

Vox bass amp from the late 70's. 50 watt solid state that feels and sounds like so much more. Has that awesome vintage tone that new amps only dream of. It has a high and a low gain input. Three knob EQ and a harmonic knob that adds to the treble. It has a great blend off power and tone. Its not so powerfull that it pushes the 12 inch speaker so hard that it distorts that wonderful vintage tone, but it is def. loud enough to gig with as I have.

OH MY GOD I LOVE THE TONE OF THIS AMP. It is so sweet and creamy. Vintage amps sounds so much better than new amps, thats why all the new amps try and mimick the old ones. This amp has a better tone than most amps do these days. It can be as loud as you need also without losing that great tone. This amp will expand the tone of your bass so much, it gives it depth, and really takes the bass away from just being loud and heavy and lets it be rich and warm and melodic.

Super reliable. This amp is a workhorse. It has been rained on, sat on, used and abused and has never let me down. Ive dropped this amp more times that I like to think about but it always turns on and is ready to rock. Vox is a great brand and is known for their great amps.

Never had to deal with them.

If this amp was stolen then there would be hell to pay. I dont have a backup b/c I dont need it. I would try and replace it but honestly these beauties are hard to find, I have only seen two of them actually. The one I own and one someone else had at a gig. It is so much better than other amps of the same or less wattage. I passed up a crate amp for this one and never felt bad about it.
