To be honest I dont like a combo (or head) with lots of knobs and stuff. only the basic stuff (volume, bass, mid, treble).

It whas either the bluecab60 or the Orange crush 35b. I went for the bluecab because of the 60 watts and the price.

Sound Quality : 10
This little guy has a good sound, regardless if it is a modern one.

My settings are:
Bass 11 o??clock
Mid 12 o??clock
treble 12 o??clock

Alredy had a band practice with it, and the volume whas at 21 o??clock. didn??t have a problem, no distortion.

Couldn??t tell if it is good for slapping, sorry....

Reliability : No Opinion
I only have this combo for 1 week, dont know but looks like it would handle any situation.

I play a custom Peruvian 5 string Fretless bass (HUAMANI BASS).I also have an Aguilar DB750 head and I needed a combo for small gigs and one that wasnt to expensive. the bluecab 60 did it.

the weight is 19 kg. not bad for its size.

The Blue Cab 60 does not have any stylish sound shaping features or filters at all. There is a simple 3-way Equalizer which on the other hand is very effective. Thats all. Unlike most bass combos the Blue Cab has only one channel.
Additional features include an aux in with dedicated level control, tilt-back foot, effects loop, line out and dedicated input jacks for passive + active basses. The active input makes sure that the sound controls of your active bass will shine big time.

Sound Quality : 10
Most bass players like the typical classic valve style sound. Those guys can simply ignore the Blue Cab 60 without further notice. This combo is a strictly modern style amp, absolutely perfect for slapping or pick playing techniques.
The sound can be described as dry, warm and clean at the same time - but at the same time very different from classic bass amp sound. At low volume it already sounds pretty fat. This is very important and often underestimated for a practicing and warmup amp. The 60 Watts is not very much power but still enough to play a small gig at your favourite street cafe. It tried some amps with way more power e.g. a 180W Behringer BX 1800 which is without a doubt much louder. But the difference is that the Blue Cab maintains constant awesome sound quality up to its limit.
Also very good: The Blue Cab has an absolutely zero noise level, no humming etc.
I must say that I love the sound of this amp so much that I would not exchange it for any much more expensive professional amp if I could afford to do so.

Reliability : 9
The cabinet itself is built like a tank. When the tilt-back foot is used the cabinet's edge contacts the floor directly without reinforcement which might destroy the cover over time.
The power amp is cooled by a fan which means that lots of dusty air circulates through the guts of the amp. I don't like that but any PC works the way without problems.
So far it never let me down and also I have no fear that it would.

no idea, sorry...

I've been playing the bass for more than ten years now. Most of the time I used a headphone amp for practicing. Now that I have the Blue Cab I play more than ever.
When looking for a little amp for around 200 Euros you might find that you have lots of choices on the market. Unfortunately most amps you can find for the price are kind of crappy. If you can invest the double amount you will find much better models of course. So no wonder, the Blue Cab 60 is still a compromise. You get what you pay for. Most important is that your bass guitar, your style and your combo fit well together. This was the main reason for me to choose the Blue Cab 60.
As a practicing amp the Warwick is more than perfect and you can indeed play a small gig with it.
