As the previous customer told, there is many features in this amp. I'm using it only with the tube preamp mode, and it's working quite well for the rockband-sound that i need. The thing for i ended up to pro tube ix was that it has the tube preamp and transistor main amp, so the sound wouldn't lose too much of attack and there still will be kind of tube saturation. You can get lost in all the features, but i'd like to try it sometime with stereo effects like chorus or delay 'cause it has stereo bi-amps for stereo cabs. Unfortunately i use it only for 1x15 and 4x10 mono bi-amp.

Sound Quality : 8
Sound is overall good, not a classic but good. You can get nice tube distortion from the tubepreamp. Somehow it still lacks in real character and personality of sound. I found the effects loop a bit too noisy for distortion pedal, so i'm using it before preamp. (Still i use the parrallel fxloop for octaver and for dbx harmonizer) Enough gain, enough variety. The switches for boosting lo/mid/hi in preamp are needless, you can't really use them. I'm using mostly Warwick streamer stage bass with active p/j pickups and also a custom with p/j emg actives.

Reliability : 7
I got the solid state preamp broken when I played this for the first times in rehearsing room loud and with boosting hi freqs too much. Weird. But with the tube I've played over 100 gigs, and it's still working fine though it must have tons of dust and dirt inside.

Customer Support : 9
I've got some other warwick products repaired here in Finland, i haven't been in contact with Warwick germany, but service is flexible and quick.

Overall Rating : 8
Good one. But like after every 1 year i'm still looking for something different. I still miss something of that full-tube amplification. But it's a good working tool.

This amp has enough features to adapt to anything. I still don't know how to use half of them, but I'll figure it out soon enough. Has almost anything you could imagine.

Sound variety is decent. Just like the basses, Warwick's amps produce a rich, warm and full sound, but with a little tweaking of the gains, and crunch knobs on the tube channel, you can get a great deep throated growl. I use an SWR Soundgear bass with a P/J pickup config, and I run the amp through a Warwick 411 pro 4x10 cab at 8ohms. I don't have the balls to crank this thing up past five with the gain at six, and the thing isn't even breaking a sweat. Would like to be able to get a little more crunchy overdrive at times, but I suppose I could just use a pedal. Occasional hiss when boosting high frequencies, and cutting low ones.

Reliability : No Opinion
I've only had the amp for 2 days, but it seems pretty rock solid. Apparently it sat on the showroom floor for over a year.

No previous dealings but these were the last two pieces of Warwick amplifiers the store I bought them from had. I haven't looked into service yet, but don't expect it to be easy. Only warranty I recieved was 90 days from the place of purchase. I also checked it out on the webpage (www.warwickbass.com/amps)and found out that the amp is not available in the USA. How I got a hold of one up here in sunny Canada is beyond me.

Overall Rating : 10
The shop wanted this setup out of the store ASAP. I got the amp and the 4x10 Warwick cab for $1500 CDN or about $1100 US. Not a bad price for a 900 watt amp and 410 cab. This is my first head and cab setup, so I shopped around before I decided. I was also looking at an SWR bass 350 with Triad cab, but got this for about $800CDN less, so it was a great deal. If it were lost or stolen I probably couldn't afford to replace it. I looked on the website, and it would have cost me at least twice as much to buy it again. I used to play through a Yorkville 100B combo amp which was fine, but just coudn't ahake the ground enough. Considering this is my first amp/cab purchase, I think I did okay.
