This amp had quite a bad distortion problem at low levels. I use a passive bass (Maton JB4 Frettless) & it didn't matter where the gain was set or the master, it sounded like it had an in-line distortion pedal on it.

I never got to use it as it was un-playable.

Warwick were very good. After the shop I bought it from rang them, they had 2 replacements within 24 hours. Unfortunately they were also faulty.

I've been playing for 28 years now. I know this is a reasonably budget ended amp, but I believe it should still do the basics & that is, a mosfet powered amp should work at low or medium levels without distortion. After I bought the 1st one home & then returned it for another one to find it had the same issue I thought I'd consider the Sweet 25.1 as an upgrade so that I could at least fulfill my gig responsibilities, I preferred the EQ over the 15.3 & the DI out but that's about it. At anything over 1/2 volume on the master, it farted & carried on in a massive fit of 'I'm at my limit man, don't play me this loud ok'. Amp distortion, speaker distortion & the box had more rattles than a 50 year old car.
Thank God I found a used Ampeg BA115 for $25 less. What an amazing amp, lke chalk & cheese!!!
