I bought it used, the seller said he had it about five years.
The Warwick Terminator is a basscabinet with 2 Eminence 10" speakers + horn in it's own vented cab and 2 Eminence 15" speakers in a 4th order bandpass cab underneath it. That makes one hell of a great looking cabinet !
On the Warwick site you can take a look at it: http://www.warwickbass.com/amps/term.htm
It has two speakon inputs and is carpet covered. Weighs a massive 59kg/130lbs and has 2 metal handles, no wheels. The grill is totally kickproof !
It has several possibilities.
You can use it full-range, that way one input will feed all speakers. A build in 300hz highpass filter will keep low frequenties from going to the 2 x 10".
In full-range mode you can switch impedance to 6 ohm or 3 ohm. This is tricky 'cause it's mentioned as 'high impedance' and 'low impedance'.
As some of you may know, many bassamps don't allow impedance below 4 ohm, so it's a mistake not to mention the figures.
You can also use it Bi-amp and that's exactly what it's made for ! One speakon will be high in at 8 ohm and the other is low in at 4 ohm or 16 ohm switchable with the high/low switch.
There's also a chrome 3/4" horn in the upper cab with a attentuator at the back.
A better way of transport would have been nice. Like the tiltwheels and handle on the Ampeg cabinet, that why I won 't give it a 10.

Untill I bought this cabinet I always used 4 x 10"s. First a Crate in a sealed cab and later (untill this date acually) a Peavey TXF 410 4 ohm ported cab. I play heavy rock/new metal stuff and I go down to drop D, drop C and drop A on the B-string.
The 10 inches in the Peavey cab are pumping so hard, to get the bottom end out, that the lead coming from the connection to the voicecoil on one of the woofers has been torn out while playing. That's when I knew I was asking to much lows from a 4 x 10" !
In search of a add-on 15" or 2 x 15" I stumbled onto this Terminator cab. I had all confidence that this was the one I needed to get the bottom lows and the crisp highs all together.
But the 15" Eminence woofers were blown by the previous owner by putting a 4 ohm min. amp on the 3 ohm switched input ! I bought it anyway ! Just took off the price of to 15" speakers and we had a deal.
This week I've put in two new 15" 400 watt woofers and was able to test it fot the first time...
Full-range is kind of worthless. The 2 x 10" + horn are louder than the 2 x 15", so there's not enough bottom end low.
Bi-amping RULES !! Now I can put full power on the 2 x 15" and go easy on the 2 x 10". The total sound is what I wanted all together.
It sounds much brighter than the Peavey, due to the active filter in my pre-amp that lets frequenties over 100 hz go to the 2 x 10" and let frequenties below 100 hz go to the 2 x 15". Every speaker does what it's designed to do. Its low bass response is also great. Where the Peavey has real problems, this bandpass 2 x 15 keeps going !
The horn can start hissing when you crank up the pot at the back, but that has much to do with my Ibanez EDA 905 basses who are equipped with piezo pick-ups and a magnetic.

Here I got to be honest... since the previous owner was able to blow the two 15 inches by setting the switch wrong, I have to say that reliability with this cab is NOT foolproof.
When you understand what you're doing, there's no problem. But if you're to lazy or dumb to read the manual you can easily blow the speakers. In my opinion it was better to make impedance switching more difficult. With internal switching for example.
The original 15" Eminence have no reconekits available. That's a drag too. I've put in the best low budget speakers I could find in Belgium and they seem to work fine.

I E-mailed Warwick Germany to ask for any info about the original 15" Eminence used... the never responded ! So this sucks !

I've been playing for about 16 years now. I own some stuff and already reviewed all of it. Just look for the Peavey TXF 410, Ibanez EDA 905, Yamaha RBX John Myung 6-string, Cort Curbow 5-string, BOSS ME-8B floorboard and BOSS GT-6B floorboard. The Curbow and GT-6B are already sold for being not good enough.
The Terminator cab seems all I wanted. On the downside it's real heavy, but I've put some 3" wheels under it and that makes a difference. Now I 've got to drag it around to see (feel) if it's do-able on the road. If not, I'll probably sell it and buy a separate 15" instead, but that remains to be seen.
