Purchased from MF in 2006.
7 watts 4" speaker
Gain switch, Treble, Bass, Volume
Tiny little lightweight amp
Paid $40 new so for that price anything that can amplify an instrument would be worth the dough

Ok so a 7watt miniature combo amp for bass should be laughable and mostly it is. There is no "bass" produced by this amp. As a bass amp it's pretty much worthless...
But when you press in the gain switch it becomes a decent little electric guitar practice amp. When an electric guitar is played through it it has a nice boxy, nasally, vintage distortion tone. It's open backed so distance from the wall makes a difference but it's 7watts through the 4 inch speaker are decently loud for practicing with a CD.

I haven't left it outside or run over it with my car so it seems pretty reliable.

I'd buy it again. It has an amazingly fun distortion sound for guitar. Don't use it with a bass and you'll be happy. It's a nice bedroom amp.
