Not sure how many features a 2x10" cab can have... good, well-constructed lightweight cab with 1/4" jack input, rather than speakons, so docked a point for that. Black carpet finish is very practical and keeps them looking good. 250W rating seems about right, perhaps a little conservative. Please note that the cabs are 4 ohms each, and not all amps can handle 2 ohms which may put off some

I play in a blues / Stax / Motown band playing with two of the these BBT210s cabs and they sound very punchy - excellent for the low-mids and mids that I absolutely love!
Have recently moved to using a power amp to drive these cabs and they sound great. I personally do not like an overly bright sound and therefore do not tend to use the horn which is adjustable using a knob on the back of the cab.

No problems after around a year... seem very solidly built. I don't gig a lot but they stand up to being moved around between practices very well.

Really good cabs, that are lightweight, well built and provide a great low-mid / mid punchy sound.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I feel that the only other review of these cabs on HC was rather unfair. I have been playing bass for c.20 years (off and on) and love the cabs. If they weren't 4 ohms they would be far, far more popular.
If you like a punchy sound biased around the low mids / mids and have an amp that can go down to 2 ohms I would highly recommend these cabs... only trouble is that you'll need to find them used as Yamaha no longer make them!

I use a custom build 5 string copy of ibanez SR with mohogany body, and active EMG DC coils. I've tested the cab with:my ashdown 300r 300wat rms amp, home made 100wat rms amp, and Technics hi-fi amp.
It has strong lows [about 100hz] as for a cheap 2x10 cab, and that's all good I can say about it. The tweeter is a serious sh**! Thank Goc it can be adjusted. It very noisy, and i hate it. It's hard to adjust it to not-iritating level. The sound is nice only in lows. As For me, it lacks mids and higher mids [which are useful for e.g. in Jazz solos]

I'v been playing for about 6 years.
If were stolen I would surely NOT buy it again. I'm gonna sell it soon. I like it's easy to handle and light. I hate the mud sound, the tweeter, and I think it doesnt play like 240 wat rms [but it depends on how you play]. I bought it 'cause i needed a cheap 210 cab.
If you arn't expecting a Clear , Bright and Hi-Fi sound, and need a cheap cab - Buy it used. It gives nice bass, specially for rock music and that stuff. For jazz ya need more clarity.
greetz from Poland, sorry for my english
