Basically a PCI card to handle the computer part of things with DSP capabilities with lots of vst effects covering everything from chorus/flanger/etc through reverbs and compressors. The real world interface is the MicroDock which connects through an Ethernet like cable. 2 XLR/1/4" combo inputs (with soft limiting) and 4 1?4" inputs, 6 1/4" outputs, all ins/outs are balanced. The MicroDock is a metal case, has an LED level indicator for each of the XLR jacks with clip indicators. Phantom power on front panel.

A great little package, the downside is...
Out of the box it installed great, worked fine for about a month and a half, then it crapped out, did a whole nightmare of troubleshooting/tech support and I do mean NIGHTMARE. Finally got shipped a new unit and out of the box it worked flawlessly ... FOR 1 WEEK!
I sure wish it was reliable because it suits my requirements exactly. But it just doesn't want to work. So back it goes and I move on to something else.
