this unit is about 9"x9"x2", sheet metal case, as for the specs well if your looking at this you should know them. nice tidy unit.
Connectivity
:
No Opinion
FireWire/IEEE-1394, my laptop is four pin but no problems here just have to use the plug for power, connectivity has been a doddle, setting up was a breeze, now i just have to switch it on and away i go.
I/O

i purchased this unit so i can mix by headphone, and its a revolution for me really, the sound is clear, the VRM seems cool i like U.S. yellow cone speaker setting the most. i have yet to plug any outboard in, i dont know really why it has 8 outs but only 2 ins.
Power
:

AC adapter when 4 pin, bus powered if you got 6.
Technical specs

driver is ASIO4all, no problems here, once i set up the delay and sample rates there has'nt been a pop or a click, amazing. the mixing desk software that comes with this unit is more than i'll ever need.

for the price, what a package, live lite 7, novation synth and plug-in suite, there is also a reverb in the unit which is nice. as for the reverb plug, i put a spring verb plug just after and i think this will be my set from now, the EQ is very nice and usable, its a bit musical. the comp is so-so,

so, whats this all about then? well its an interface, i hav'nt listed the specs, the i/o, well, because it is what is, if you got a gripe with this aspect well you should'nt have bought it stupid. it says on the box what its got and thats what it is. i got this because i mix through headphones and thats what this little box is for, and for me it do'es a great job (house music, and a bit of millsian techno). for the price this is a super solid package, the focusrite saffire PRO 24 DSP is going to sell by the thousand, a revolution has just started.
