Other : 6
comes with gearbox, which had amp and cabinet modeling, pedal effects, etc.. also has different mic pre amp modeling. only bad thing is you have to pay extra 99 dollars to use these as plug ins. other wise you have to use them just to record with....i will give it a 6 because of that

Overall : 10
in the real world this is a nice tool. I recently started playing guitar 7 months ago and i laid down some (very basic) demo tracks. It works very well, never cut off or let me down. Guitar and mic pre models are very good and you have a lot of control over the individual controls of each different model. you can use knobs on keyboard to control some features too. I bought this because I only have 2 usb ports, and needed a keyboard and recording interface in one, and have an extra hard drive in second port. I have recorded some vocals using the preamp model for the avalon 737 which i really own. Honestly it sound pretty decent. Of course its not going to sound like a $2300 mic pre but it has a good sound. The guitar models are very decent and having the full range to control them totally just like it was a physical amp is very nice....Ii love this thing. very good for songwriters and amateur musicians..A/D convertors sounds good too. dont think i will try to release a professional album from this(lol)but it really hold its own. i have yet to record and mix a full song using this to see how it stacks up in different playback mediums but you might can pull it off on regular music listeners. I would re-cut my vocals using my avalon but may be able to keep guitar tracks. This is a great buy and i dont think I will need anything else with my setup. I have this, logic 7.2, macbook, avalon 737, and an AT 4060 and behringer truth monitors.

KB37 was incompatible with BOTH my laptop and desktop. I had to find this out from the web...LINE 6 DOES NOT RETURN CALLS!!!!!
Go ahead, try to contact someone there, I DARE you! You will be wasting your time. The KB37 needs a specific chipset and OS to work, I sent it back immediately..had a very cheap feel anyway.
