the 302 is supposed to be a portable unit I guess (a bit larger than mbox2). it has in-output LEDs with clipping indicators. the case is pretty thick metal.

firewire, good connectivity

preamp is okay, but a little weak.

it can be bus or ac powered

24 bit/192 khz,depends on what plug you use. no hardware monitoring. it runs better on ASIO4all driver (which you can download for free)

it comes with cubase LE which I don`t use because i like nuendo3 better.

Overall : No Opinion

for a tight budget audio interface, the 302 is definitely not bad at all !! it is a great purchase
