Type and Construcion
:
This is a 20" Hand Hammered Ride that has a unique look and construction. It is half Lathed, giving it an inner raw circle and an outer natural ring.
Sound Quality

The cymbal has very good stick definition, a good amount of 'wash', and sounds very good. I would say the sound suits most types of music, but may work best for jazz, funk, pop, or any lighter styles of rock. With heavy metal or hard rock it may have some trouble cutting through the mix. You would think that the raw and lathed portions of the cymbal would have different sounds, but in reality the difference is very subtle.
The ride also works for crashing on, and when stuck in such a way as a crash it sounds like a slow, deep, and washy crash.
This being said, the only criticism I have is about the bell. The bell is not very large or well defined, and hence has a less defined sound. You have to strike the bell quite a bit harder then you would with another cymbal to get the same sound.
Reliability/Durability

I have not had any problems at all regarding cracking or any type of damage for that matter. Granted, I am not a heavy hitter, but the cymbal is very well crafted and I have no doubts the cymbal will break any time soon.
Customer Support
:
No Opinion
I believe the warranty for most Sabian cymbals (including the HH series) is two years. I have no experience dealing with Sabian, but from what I've heard they are very friendly and helpful.
Overall Rating

I have been playing around 6 years. The other cymbals I play are mostly HHX, and the ride fits very nicely with these.
Overall it is a great cymbal, I don't regret buying it at all.
