Type and Construcion
:
They are brilliant finish, 14", bright sounding cymbals. No particular special techniques used to make the cymbals sound stand out or special or different. Not hand hammered, I believe. They do have dimples on them but they look machine hammered. The top is thin and the bottom is thick.

Simply bright. Not the highest pitched cymbals but definitely not dark. As you gradually open the hats, they have a good amount of 'sizzling' sound. Good for rock style.
Also very suitable for dance style thanks to its sizzleness and pitch. Quite good for speedy neccesity.
They sound very clear.

I don't know about the top hat but definitely the bottom is very thick, I mean it's very sturdy. They give you plenty of volume and they cut the sound through the whole band sound quite well. I mentioned before that no special manufacturing techniques were used to make these hats, as Sabian might disagree, they actually stand out in the overall band.
I've never played Zildjian A 14" hi hats but I personally like the sound of them better than those AAX's. I think it's just because the Zildjian A's are more full in sound that they may be more suitable for rock music.
Customer Support
:
No Opinion
I have no clue about warranty - as I bought this set on eBay.
No experience dealt with Sabian customer support...which means that they have no problem!

I think that if you want to own or play Sabian cymbals you really need consistecy. This review is on the hats but if you wanna put these in your set ups you have to have a AAX or AA (to be close) ride and crashes to match to keep the consistency going on in your kit. The Zildjian A and Custom A - especially - can be matched to suit the sound of AAX.
I've read people reviewing that the Zildjian A's go well together with their K's but man, AAX really needs something close to accompany them.
Afterall, they are nice, sturdy, bright cymbals that I so far have no problems of cracks or anything in the ownership of about a couple of months, so I'm satisfied.
