These hats are LOUD!!! They are very, very loud! They have that bright, cutting and crisp sound that drummers look for in a pair of hats. With the "Air Wave" bottom they eliminate air lock in the hi-hats and make the sound clear! If you want to AAX-celerator hat though, I would suggst getting the 14" hats instead of the 15" because, the 14" are a lot less loud and have a more normal 'chick' sound to them than the 15" hats. I would suggest you leave the 15" hats for X-hats. These hats truly are cutting and perfect for rock and metal players!
Reliability/Durability

These cymbals are extremely durable and can take a major beating. They are medium and heavy cymbals, I'm pretty dang sure they can take a beating! These hats are strong!

These hats cut like you wouldn't believe!!! they are durable and have an "Air Wave" bottom that prevents air lock. They have a crisp and bright sound that can be appreciated by all drummers. Go and Get these hats!
