Type and Construcion :
This a 20" ride cymbal made of B20 bronze with a natural finish. The XS20 line is Sabian's lowest priced B20 line. They look great and sound great. This one is no exception.

Sound Quality : 8
This cymbal is very heavy. It is quite thick. At first, I thought I wouldn't like it and went right past it in the store. Then my buddy hit it with a stick and I was like... Woah! What was that? It sounds great. The ping is clear, the wash is big, and it's perfect for cutting through a stack of loud guitars. Bright and loud, this is the perfect rock ride. NOTE: if you play mellow Jazz or acoustic stuff you won't like this cymbal. It's made for rockers.

Honestly though, it sounds just as good as many $300 rides I've heard.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This thing is heavy! If you can dent it you're hitting it way too hard. Like all Sabians I've owned, it will last if you treat it right.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with them.

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing drums for about a year, but I've been playing music for almost 20. I just finally took the plunge into drums and I love it. Anyway... I'm not an experienced drummer, but I am an experienced musician and I've heard a LOT of kits over the years. I absolutely love this ride for rock. Again, it's not a jazz cymbal. If that's what you want, look at the HH series, or Zildjian K's. If you are looking for a lot of cymbal for your money, this is your ride. It costs a little more than a ZXT or B8 Pro, but it sounds 1000 times better. B20 bronze makes all the difference. If it was lost or stolen, I'd have to get another... unless I had enough to afford the AAX Stage Ride. :-)
