This is a brilliant, bright sounding ride. Almost too bright, shimmery even. The wash really rides up over the sound, and limited stick definition. No 'dry' to be found.

Well-made, stayed in great shape, except for stick marks.

Its a great sounding ride, but limited in the music that it suits. I found it was lost in the mix of a typical rock music band. Does not suit large parts of the rock music spectrum. Its mostly a 60's sounding cymbal, which it was designed to emulate. I eventually switched to a Paiste 2002, which I find to have more presence, better stick defintion, cuts the mix completely and an overall richer, nicer sound, but still maintaining some bright shimmery character. Bonham used them for a reason.

This ride is the most brilliant musical ride I have ever played.
If you want that old school classic ride tone, this is it man...
This ride has The who, Hendrix, and such tone. When looking for a ride I had that sound in mind, my search ended with this ride. It was exactly what I wanted, I hear that classic Zildjian ride now filling out my own recordings, and it gives me chills..

This is a slightly light cymbal, so I wouldn't bash it, but it's loud s no need to bash it. Very durable, should last a long time.

I give this ride a 10 I love my ride and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. It's a beautiful thing man.
Playing little over a year
if it were stolen I would cry and then replace it with another one as soon as I could afford it.
