Type and Construcion

This is a new Zildjian Z3 22" Rock Ride made from Zildjian's cast bronze alloy. It has a brilliant finish and is both lathed and machine hammered.

I bought this after spending hours listening to all the different sound clips on the Zildjian website. I then placed an order online and hoped for the best. After receiving the cymbal I happy to say that it is even better than I had hoped for. It cuts through the mix without a lot of wash but has much more character than I expected and the bell is the best that I have ever heard. If you play in a loud setting you should defiantly try one of these out.
Reliability/Durability

I do not foresee any problems with this cymbal during my lifetime. It is a heavy well made cymbal and I am sure it will be around long after I am gone!

I have been using Zildjian cast bronze cymbals for over 35 years and the only ones that I do not still own and use are the ones that were stolen from me. I currently have about 20 cymbals A, A Custom, K, Z Custom and now Z3. I have never had a problem with any of them so I can not give an opinion on their customer support.
