Easiest drum I have ever gigged with !

Took about 8 weeks to get, was quoted 6. But compared to other custom builders, who said 12 to 20 weeks I thought it wan't bad.

Overall Rating : 10
I love this kit, it lived up to all my expectations
and I would order another one in a heartbeat.

This is a Great little kit! Maple Keller 10 ply shell on the main cocktail drum, it arrived in a beautiful Ginger Ale Glass Glitter.
The setup included a 8 x 6 rack tom with a sweet sound from such a little drum! A 10 x 5 Chrome snare and a unique right side 8 x 12 "hanging tom" - a kick pedal and bracket, and a couple cymbal mounting posts that I added two boom stands to. Evans heads came standard, and it's got four legs that really made the set ( which takes up 2 x 3 feet! ) sturdy and balanced.

Sound Quality : 10
The drums sound like a full four piece drum set, a 14x24 main drum, the bottom serves as the kick drum, and the top is the floor tom. with a rack and a snare it's a full four piece kit. I played it mic'd up and the kick was incredible - noone could tell it wasnt a full size drum kit. The bearing edges are key, according to the builder, 45 degree beveled inward. Warm and punch, without the high ring maple drums usually have.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I play this Cocktail kit standing up, and I grab a bar stool to sit on some tunes, the drums are so close to each other, fills are really fast and fun to play. the hardware ( 2.3mm superhoops, Maple Keller shells ) are all pro level and match anything I have tonewise with my other kits.

It took about 6 weeks to get my kit I custom ordered, not bad considering the price and it's completelyt built for me by Metropolitan. Worked with me throught the process.

Overall Rating : 10
I have several kits, and play out 2 times a week, and needed a small gigging kit for a trio I play with. I am set up in ten minutes max and I can carry the kit in two hands. Incredibly portable, and sounds great. I would by one again in a heartbeat!
