WOW!! This kit has it all, from the I.S.S. system(independent suspension system) right down to the memory locks. This kit came in a translucent green color. maple shells fitted with evans coated g2 heads. 10 12 13 and 16 inch toms with a 22 inch bass drum. definately one of the best exports on the market.

Sound Quality : 8
This has to be the greatest sounding kit I think I have ever played, and I have played a lot of kits. there was the faintest overtone on each drum. you have to be listening for it to hear it.

Reliability/Durability : 8
It sets up quick and easy. Like I said before the memory locks on this kit are extraordinary. I maybe have to retune once every three weeks. unless im doing a lot of gigs then I retune every time I set up.

I did get a warranty but I haven't had to use it yet. I have had the kit since august of 07 and so far so good.

Overall Rating : 8
overall I would repeat my belief that this is the greatest kit I have ever had the honor of playing on. I don't think I'm going to venture to far away from the fusion kit when it becomes time for a new kit.

This is the Higher end of the Exports (EX, EXR I think, and ELX.) I have the 5 piece config. with the `10,12,14 toms, bass/snare. This set came in the cobalt fade color, which looks really good. you have the ISS mounting systems that all the better models have.

Sound Quality : 7
The ranges are pretty broad, but I dont have alot of experience with these drums anywhere besides my living room. They tune up very nice very easily though. The smaller than normal tom configuration helps with the overtones. dampening strips alleviate the rest of the overtones in a small environment.

Reliability/Durability : 7
I havent taken the kit out anywhere, I think the only downfall of this set (laquer finish) to a wrap kit is that the drums will dent very easily. A wrap kit is more forgiving against bumps and dings. The tone is very consistent, and retuning does not need to be done very often. The hardware is sturdy and double-braced. The set obviously looks much better than the wrapped counterpart though.

I've been playing for almost 20 years now. I have had a pearl Export before, then sold it to go to college, then purchased this set off Ebay. I have been thrilled with it overall. It's a great improvement to the older Exports. I am now in the process of finding a 8" and 16" tom to add to the set. I absolutely love the paint finish. The fade looks great in any light.
