I read the other reveiw first and I think that guy has a messed up pedal He got it used he says so maybe the last guy tried to mod it or something. Anyway all the backwards lights he talks about I don't have. Mine all works the right way. Effect light comes on when effect is on, all that is the same as other pedals. The Multitrem is mostyly easy to use but not as easy as say your basic two knob trem. It isa little harder because there are more options. Makes sense right? More flexible so more settings so a little harder to figure out at first but after you turn through all the options and which are you're favorites then worth it! Especially the sidew8inder control that lets you change the speed with your foot. You have to learn how to use it but when you do it is worth it.

I use a SG with soapbars and once in a while a Mexican Telecaster if the song needs it. I use a silverface Bassman with a Marshall 4-12. Usually no other effects but the ocasional booteek fuzz. I have a Fulltone '69 and a Zvex Fuzz FActory but I use them only for wilder sounds. I am basically you're NATURAL tube amp overdrive kind of guy.
This Multitrem is really good for me because it doesnt change my tone when off do to true bypass. And when its on it is a very natural sounding trem except when on Square Wave but more on that later.
When on triangle wave it sounds great! It is a very warm natural sound like a hgood quality tube amp trem. Wehn on square wave it does that Pink Floyd Careful with that Axe Eugene chopping sound. Like if a guitar and an old analog synth and a helicopter were all playing CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP in unison together with the speed of the trem. It is cool but not my style I like the natural sounds if you can't already tell.

This thing looks real solid. it is in a bigger MXR style metal box. It is as wide as the top of a MXR phase100 case if youv seen one. The Phase100 is bigger then the phase 90, maybe two times wider. Thge Multitrem is in a Phase100 size box but even bigger because it is taller. any way its a brick! And I would depend on it as much as any other high quality pedal. I bought it 8 months ago an NO PROBLEMS YET and I gig usually twice a week but I give it a 9 becuase 8 months is maybe not enough time yet?

Customer Support : No Opinion
I never talked with the guy who makes them and no website. On the bottom it says

Handmade in Ann Arbor MI with Love for Musicians

I bought it at a store in Ann Arbor. I live in Detroit but was visiting there. It looked cool in the case with a pro sparkle metal finish and I was looking for a trem and I bought it. Anyway the girl at the store said some guy who was a young proffesor at the college makes them by hand in town and they sell fast because he only has time to make a few. He makes other pedals to but they were sold out. So I never talked to the guy who makes them but she said if you have trouble bring it in and he will fix it for sure. So I give no opinion.

I play blues and classic rock styles mostly original. The triangle wave settings are great for me, perfect for my songs that need trem. If i feel like a psychidilic freak out, I use the square wave and freak out the speed with the foot speed control but only once in a while to piss off my drummer who is total old school only. If it was lost or stolen I would go back to Ann Arbor and buty another one.

A little tricky at first because when on of the lights comes on it means the effect indicated is *OFF*. For example when the bypass light is on it means bypass is off and the effect is running. The wave switch, preset depth, and manual depth all take a little getting used to. It can be figured out if you think of everything as backwards. Try changing the battery and you'll see why it gets a 3.

This is by far the best Trem unit I have ever used. No tone sucking here. I especially like that it has a true bypass (trems that don't just screw up the clean sound royal). I commented to my wife that if it was possible the multitrem actually adds tone. On top of this it can produce everything from subtle, gently rippling waves on the beach to blackhawk helocopters taking off. I would compare the quality to the Peavey Delta Blues series of tube amps. I love the sound of this effect.

Seems dependable enough. I think each one is hand made so if the guy making them is paying attention this pedal should be able to hang with the best of them. I really like the rugged metal case. Seems solid enough.

Customer Support : 5
I can't even find a listing for this company so I doubt there is any customer support. I am going to give it a 5 because I think if I really wanted to I could find a contact for them and since it is hand made I'm sure the guy would fix any defect within reason.

I play all syles of music and have guitars that range from a Parker to and Electra. I've tried many other trems some are good (Dunlop) and others stink (Marshall). I think a good trem is like a good fuzz RARE. Once you find a trem unit that sounds good it's uses and the texture it can add to your music are well worth the effort. This is a GREAT trem unit especially for the money. If you can find one, try it, you'll most likely buy it.
