plug in and buzz! 3 knobs: level, fuzz and smooth (tone). it is a progression on the ole fuzzface, but with 3 germanium transitors, the firts does the stabilization a diode usually does. the transistors are ac125ers.
the tonecontrol makes it a bit tonebenderish. adding the tone control should make You fear that the pedal isn't loud enough: with the fuzz at 12 o'clock, full level gives some boost.

first of all: this was designed to give you the ancient clapton/cream tone and it's the LEAST it can do. everything from the fuzz area is here: zeppelin, hendrix, some ronson, cream, mountain, you name it. it doesn't give large amounts of fuzzes, but stays transparent all the way.
it can work as a stand-alone distortion unit, but works great in front of driven tubeamps and goes VERY well with other pedals!!!
NICE CLEAN-UP as well.
it is far from other cheap or even not so cheap fuzzes pretending to be "experienced". this here is a true keeper.

i burned tons of money searching for musical fuzzes. here's one of the best. if you are looking for a take on the fuzzface and its relatives, this one could suit your needs.
what i would do if it got stolen? i am thinking about ordering a second one to change transitors!
