Very straight forward. I always prefered knobs over buttons or push pads, I just feel they give you a bit more control.

Very good, even by todays standards. I've had mine a long time and still use it often. It's surprisingly quiet, and the effects sound great. The chorus/flange and delay tones are warmer and just as clear as my Alesis Quadraverb, which is great if you want to get away from the "transistorized" sound that so many effects have today.

I've had mine for over 10 years, never a problem.

I have just cleaned my old ADA 2FX multi-effects box up and can't wait
to hear that old mid 80's flange, chourus, delay that was so inteactive with the player then. I've been playing around with new school stuff on computer and can't wait to get "generic with it".
Wish me luck. Tim 42yrs.

The ADA 2FX digital multi-effects processor, from the mid- late 80s, is a rack mount job with three separate modules: flanger (4 knobs), chorus (two knobs) and 1 second max delay (3 or 4 knobs). Either the flanger or the chorus can be combined with the delay, and there's even an A/B-B/A button that toggles the order of the modules, i.e., chorus/flange before or after delay. There's also a button for 'inverse phase'. It came with a 4 button external footpedal which requires a 'stereo' guitar cord. Both input and output volume controls with LED peak indicator. Single in, dry and wet output.

Sounds pretty good; was supposedly a front runner spec-wise for guitar rack mount jobs in the mid-late 80s. All knobs or buttons- the delay makes those sliding sounds when the delay time is tweaked. The delay is relatively clean, the chorus is not too warbly, and the flange sounds more jet-like than nasal. Very easy to get lush, atmospheric sounds.

Very refreshing step back to simpler times, after dealing with editing patches and saving to memory with my other stuff. If I need to adjust something I just twist a knob. I'm using this guy more than my Line 6 DL4!
