Dont confuse this with the 351 31 band EQ! The faders have a 1/4 of the throw that the 352 has. Low noise floor. Its a MONO 31 band EQ so it does not take a brain surgeon to figure out how to use it. It has RCA, 1/4" balanced, and XLR INS and OUTS which is nice to have all of the options there for studios. The manual is basic but functional.

I am using this in my recording studio (3 ADAT XT's, 32x8 Mackie, lots of outboard gear). It has a very low noise floor and to be honest I could not hear any noise at all added to the mix.
Reliability

It is built out of a steel chassis and the 60mm faders are in there firm so I dont feel and room for there to be damage from continual use. This can be used for a guitar rig or a PA and I would not worry about a back up.

The VU meter is kind of a cool nastalgic effect but to be honest I would rather have a digital meter since the clip light appears to light up sometimes when the VU needle is nowhere near peaking. The sound quality is great and the 60mm faders are much better than the 45mm faders on the comprable PEAVEY version of this. For the money ($389 list $199.00 retail) you cant go wrong. I read an article where Jonny Winter's soundguy was hired to set up a system for a new aerospace museum in California and he used these EQ systems to dial in the room. According to him that worked quickly and perfectly with no problems. I just did a recording project yesterday and used the EQ to dial out some unwanted frequencies and it worked GREAT!! I intend to buy another so I will have stereo 31 band EQ's with 60mm faders on them.
