Very easy to use.. Nothing too worrying here!

Unfortunately, this is where it lets you down. As mentioned by others here, when using it to split two amps, it bleeds sound through to the amp that you aren't using, which is **** if youve got one amp for rhythm, and one for lead as you just get a fizzy hiss of noise coming through the lead amp when you're playing rhythm.
It also seems to suck a fair bit of the tone when playing through it.
All in all, not good!

The metal box itself looks like it would withstand reasonable abuse, and I bought it because it looked sturdy - just a shame it doesnt work properly!

Theres nothing more to add really, other than it does work well in Y mode, (albeit with a little tone sucking), so if you just want to use two amps together all the time, then it's fine. If not, spend a little extra cash and go for he Morley, as this is unfortunately pretty much unusable.

Very easy to use, just open up, pop in a battery, plug it up, and start playing. Cool design, cool looks. Good price for the item though.

It was very noisy. I run a Mesa Tremoverb for dirty, and a Fender for clean, but if I have one amp clean, and the other with the dirty channel on, the sounds bleeds, creating the noisy hum. I need true bypass.

It is dependable, and I would gig without a backup if that was all I had.

I play all different types of music, so running 2 amps is very handy for me. It is a good match if there is nothing else to use at the time. I have been playing guitar for 13 years, and been playing as a prof. for 5 years, and I own many pedals and cool toys. I am just going to go get a Wirlwind, alittle costly, but worth it. If it where stolen, I would not worry about it. I do wish it had true bypass and a power supple for the LED.

Very easy to use. A monkey could figure it out. Two buttons, one to switch between channel a and channel b. One to use both channels at once.

This is where this pedal earns its lemon award. There is no true bypass. You get interuption and bleeding from the other channel in your ground loop. If you are constantly using overdrive or "distortion" then you may not notice, but you will if you are using a clean sound. Sounds horrible. If I would have known this I would have never wasted my time or money. I am now playing through a WOBO, which is a far superior ab/y switch with true bypass and a ground loop switch.

Seems very reliable. Well built, metal and an internal battery. None of that plastic crap to break. I would gig with it if there was no other ab/y for me to use.

Never dealt with ART for this item, not like they could fix the problem anyway. I am going to attempt to pawn this off on someone who is as unsuspecting as I was.

I play a variety of music, and blend a lot of effects together which is why I have the need for a good ab/y switch. I have been playing guitar for 13 years. I have owned a plethora of gear. I currently play out of a Soldano Hot-Rod 50+ and a Roland JC-120 which is where the ab/y comes into play. If it were stolen I would only care because I lost $27 instead of selling it for at least $1 which is probably what it is worth. If this had true bypass it would be perfect. ART has failed to make a real ab/y pedal. Instead they have made a pedal that switchs between amps and bleeds the channels together. I don't know anyone that would get excited about that. It gets in the way of a clean sound which is what it should not do. This pedal is worthless. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT A GOOD AB/Y SWITCH WITH TRUE BYPASS!

Pretty easy to use. Two switches....one for A/B and one for Y.

Not a true A/B. If you switch to one of the channels, there is still some signal bleeding through to the other channel. Works fine in Y mode.

Seems to be reliable with the exception of the bleed between channels.

This would be great if it didn't have the bleeding channels issue. The construction seems pretty tough and it's pretty quiet but how can an A/B box have bleed through?

Straight forward. 2 in 2 out, and Y-switch to turn on both outputs. EASY!

Seems to be noiceless. Doesn`t add any additional noice to my effect-chain, and my chain is pretty simple and noicefree to begin with. 2 T-rex pedals (tremolo and overdrive), a Danelectro reverb, Guyatone delay and a Boss tuner.

I do miss a AC connection. I just got it and only used it once on a gig and the batteris still works fine. I think I`ll customice it with a AC connection.
The knobs are a bit close and in the heat of the moment you might step on the wrong one, or both at the same time. Otherwise a great little box at a fantastic price. Very good value.

I have an old amp (30 years) with two channels, but no footpedal to swith between them. CoolSwitch does the job. Now I can set the channels with different settings and use one for solo and the other for rhythm. Brilliant!!!.

No clicks when switching. Seems to have a decent passive circuit. No noise that I could hear.

Solid little metal box with the jack sockets at the back (unlike some poorly-designed A/B/Y boxes out there). My only quarm is that it doesn't have an AC adaptor input so will only run off a battery (you have to remember to disconnect the jacks when you've finished with it to preserve the battery.)

Simple bit of hardware that does exactly what it's supposed to. For thirty quid you can't go wrong. Would've liked a power input though...
