lots of good-sounding and usable patches, but not programmable, which makes it very easy to use.

My Les paul and Strat go into a Crybaby, Marshall Jackhammer, SD Pickup Booster, Mesa Boogie Formula Pre (-amp), then to the Art Multiverb. After that the signal is splitted. one side goes through an amp simulator, the other goes to my Fender amp.
The Art is a quality 16-bit effects. more bits will definitely sound better, but will cost much more than I paid for this baby.

it's old, built like a tank and it still works good. i'd gig without backup.

I play Loud. I use the Art whenever i need a good reverb, delay or chorus. It's perfect for quickly getting quality sounds.

Very simple to dial up good sounds and useful effects. No programming though. Idiot proof.

Used as a dedicated FX on an old synth. Good chorus and reverbs. Sounds were better than average when this FX was launched and are still clean enough to use today. Smooth sounding.

MIDI control is useful for selecting patches. Simple and effective for synths FX (chorus, reeverb). Delays are fixed and of limited use. Smooth sound slightly warm reverbs. Very good as a secondary FX unit.

It's very easy to pull the sound you want, seeing as it's not programable. A bypass button and fottswitch jack is included along with a mix control 0-100%, and midi control.

The reverbs tail out smoothly and are very clean, the delays are deffined and clear, the chorus and flange is lusious and sweet form short to deep, and the dubler (program #18) is awsome!!

I would buy it again though I sometimes wish it had programability. Compared to the under $800 Lexicon range, Alesis units, and digitech models, it is better.
