It's a distortion pedal so of course its easy. Just dial in the the level and amount of gain and adjust the EQ to taste.

I didn't have it long as i was fixing it for a friend but in the short time i had it, there wasn't one good sound that came out of it. It doesn't have a true bypass and when i turned up my clean channel on my amp, you could hear that the distortion was just placed on top of the clean signal. It was very fuzzy and buzzy and had a lot of feedback when not playing. Also, if any one of the knobs were turned up past halfway, a strange whistling noise happened.
Overall, a very bad sound. My amp (Marshall MGDFX30) has a better dirty channel than this pedal.

The case seems to be made out of metal but its probably not very strong so they could cut costs. I wouldn't ever gig with it as it sounds so bad. And I was fixing a faulty switch and some dodgy connections on the PCB. I would hate to be the poor sucker who relied on this for a gig.

I tried looking for their website and it came up blank. So i doubt they will be too helpful.

No styles of music would suit this pedal. I've been playing for nearly 5 years (and repairing for longer) and have a Gibson SG Standard and ESP Kirk Hammet model and a Marshall MGDFX30 and have used many pedals and all of them have been better than this. Well, I would be glad if it was stolen from me but it's not mine (thank god).
EVERYBODY SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEDAL AND THOSE IN EXISTENCE SHOULD BE SENT INTO SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not exactly hard to get a sweet sound out of this pedal, the equalization opens up a huge range of different sounds you can create from fuzz to high pitch screaming!!! The manual isn't that helpful really just points out the parts on the pedal that you can read anyway.

I use a westfield Strat copy with a sound king amp. The pedal is relativly quiet, depends how you have it set up, for some levels you have to have that background growl. The distortion always sounds great, it works best if you set your amp to clean rather than overdriven. The low equalisation with the mid frequency about central gives a great Black Sabbath sound

Built like a brick shed, very similar to the boss pedals. However you really have to push the jacks in hard to get them to stay there, this is my first pedal, so i don't have a backup, but i'd be confident to use this at a gig

This is a simple pedal to use with 6 knobs:
Level - Contols the output level
Distortion - Alters the level of distortion
Hi EQ - Pretty obvious, but is active
Lo EQ - Much like Hi, but Low!
Mid +/- - The killer one, add to honk, cut to scoop
Mid Frequency - Sweeps the EQ up and down.
It's really easy to get a wide range of sounds out of it, very straight forward, and the battery access is really easy to get into.

I use mine with a Gibson SG Special, and a Charvette and it gives a fizzy, hi-gain sound that I can't get out of the crunchy distortion on my Laney LC15R valve amp. Surprisingly, it has quite a wide range of usable sounds, from honky-wonky bark to full scooped mosh. It isn't paricularly quiet, but it is a high gain unit.
I have yet to try it on other sounds, like synth and drums, but it is versatile enough to play many roles.

Well, I have not had it long, so can't really say, but it is housed in a metal Boss/Dod type of container so seems ready to take on the road.

I have only had it a short while, but it was as cheap as chips so if it died tomorrow, I'd just buy another one!

This is definitely one worth auditioning, I use it as a secondarry distortion source, I doubt I would use it as my primary, but it is good fun, seems well made and looks the biz. When you consider that Alesis, Zoom and Digitech make multi-FZ machines for less than a hundred pounds, pedals should start at a low price (esoteric and speciality units aside) so you can afford to buy things to play with. I like this one and can happily reccomend it to anyone!
