Ease of Use : 10
I started off with all controls at 12 o'clock and didn't have to go far to get a great sound.

Sound Quality : 10
I use a fender u.s. fat tele through a marshall dsl 401. I can nail the Gary Moore sound spot on.

Reliability : 10
I have had no problems with reliability and would gig without a backup no worries.

Never needed to contact them.

I havr been a semi pro player on and off for over 30 years. this is the best pedal i have ever come across and at the price an absolute steal. If i lost it i'd buy another straight away.

It's pretty easy to use, you have to press quite hard to get it to turn on or off. It's better than other distortion pedals, especially the t-bone distortion i've used - others have circle buttons you have to press, which hurts with bare feet.

otherwise, the controls are easy to use but you can't change the settings much during play

I'm using a Vintage V8TSB, but i can't afford a guitar amp so i'm plugging it through my kustom kba100x bass amp. It's sounds ok through a bass amp, but (i don't know if this is because of the amp) the turbo/hot switch doesn't make THAT much of a difference. It sounds wicked scratching muted strings, though

Reliability : 8
It's pretty reliable, i'd use it to gig but i haven't had it too long

It's good, i like it. It's very decent for the price, i found, and pretty versitile. However, the "low" level drive isn't quite as low as it could be - other distortion pedals can have just a little bit of a grainy sound, but with this it's still quite distorted on a low setting. Nevertheless, i'd recomend it to others.

Just like the bloke who did the 1st review, my input jack broke, right before a solo too. Then I discovered although it looks like it's metal, it is in fact plastic. Also doesn't turn on and off properly. I said this could be a classic pedal - I was wrong. Even if you don't gig, stay away from this badly made piece of crap. It'll let you down.

Reasonable sound, unreliable as hell. Leave this one alone.

Looks like a Boss pedal but bigger. It's got Drive, Tone and Level knobs and a Turbo/Hot switch, with Hot providing more gain/sustain. Green paint much like a Boss Phaser.

Pretty easy to get a good sound out of it. The two modes are a great advantage and the controls are responsive. Getting a great sound depends on your setup (as with most equipment), taste in tone and time.

Sound Quality : 8
I must admit I've only just got this. On some amps the tone is clear and amazing. On my JC-50, at quiet levels at least, it's muddy even with the Tone cranked to full. I use a Danelectro EQ after it, that tidied things up. Gives me a classic AC/DC or Led Zep kinda tone, just how I like it. A little noisy, but quieter than my MXR Distortion +. Could be a classic pedal, have to gig it to find out.

Reliability : 5
The footswitch needs a good hard hit to toggle ON/OFF and the jack sockets aren't too great - the leads keep popping out about an 1/8" of an inch. The signal stays the same, but it is worrying. My one could end up like the bloke below.

Fairly new company, we'll have to wait and see.

Overall Rating : 7
I play any kind of rock and like a classic sound. This, at first, seems a little muddy but might smooth out at louder volumes. The actual tone is pretty wicked though. If it were stolen I'd be unlikely to buy again as it seems unreliable. I love the Turbo/Hot switch - opens more tone up to you.

I compared this to a Big Muff, ProCo Rat, Jimi Hendrix Classic Fuzz and an MXR Distortion + all on a Roland JC-85. It came out top, not as good as the MXR Distortion + but close - would be closer if the tone wasn't so muddy, but again, I'd have to try it with different amps and at higher volumes first.

Classic analogue set up: stomp part, Drive, Tone and Level dials are out of the way of stomp. You can't switch the selection from "Turbo" to "hot" during playing unfortunetly. Manual came with it and was quite helpful

Sound Quality : 8
Stagg flying V with Kustom 20W amp. Wide range of selection, turbo mode lets you change the distortion to sound like overdriven tube amp while Hot mode give you more distortion and boost. Tone on this is so sweet cos it has its own tone selection to help boost tone signal. Can sound very close to greenday, weezer, ozmaa and turbo mode can get you close to pixies, very versitile. Bypass works well

Reliability : 10
I'd gig without a backup for certain, i depend on it, even at its kickass price

I really like it alot, the price is almost illegal for this standard. Like ds-2ish, complete features, no complaints
