I am reviewing the 12' Professional Guitar Cable from Accusound. This cable recently was reviewed in Guitar Player Magazine and was given very high marks. As a result I ordered one and am very pleased with it's sound.

This cable is easily the best sounding guitar cable I ever used. You simply plug one end into your guitar and the other end into your amp and instantly get good tone. I was very surprised at what a difference it made. I was expecting it to be subtle but actually the difference is quite substantial compared to the standard cables I've used for years.
The most noticeable effect is that the cable enhances the highs of the guitar as well as improves the instrument's PUNCH. Everything seems to have more definition including the dynamics of the strings as you play them. And the lows and mids come through much better as well. My stratocaster and other guitars sound more alive. It improved my sound whether I was playing clean or distorted.
This cable is obviously very good at reproducing treble tones, and it never sounded glaring and always sounded smooth. Overall the sound is very balanced and true to the tone being produced by my guitar I've played it extensively with several different guitars/amps and all sounded great regardless of whether I used single coils and humbuckers. In a few cases, I easily turned down the treble control on my amp where I wanted the cable to sound less intense.
This cable is definitely high end and uses the best materials available. That's why it sounds so good. It was designed from the ground up to sound great by using only the best. The insulating material inside is polypropylene which is a big step up in performance from the PVC insulation used in many other cables. The wire conductors are silver coated high purity copper.
With all that said, I'm still going to keep my old inferior cables for cases where I want to sound a bit more vintage, but overall this cable is still the best.

Very well built. Connectors are Amphenol which should last for a long time.

I mostly play rock and have been playing for 25 years. My amps are primarily old blackface fenders although I do have an old Marshall as well. I play a Strat as well as a PRS custom 22. All sounded good with this cable.
If it was lost I'd buy another one immediately.
