The best reverb unit in the business. I replaced the short-pan reverb tanks in a Crate Blue Voodoo 50 head (tube head) with a Type 9 (long-pan; 6 couinterwound springs - Accutronics best commercial spring reverb unit). Added depth, lushness, richness, overtones, etc.
The sound of a really good reverb unit (my Type 9) added to a good tube amplifier is superb. It's a cheap addition - less than a pair of power tubes; and really opens an amplifier up.
Also replaced the short two-spring unit in an obsolete ASI Audio Sound International Q-tube 70 hybrid with a Type 9 Accutronics reverb pan. $39.95 for the unit and shipping, which you just screw down and plug in.....now this amp that was loud but rather sterile has the same lush, rich sound as a tube amp.

Here is where Accutronics absolutely SHINES. The first reverb unit I ordered for my Crate Blue Voodoo tube amp sounded rather flat. I called Accutronicx, and they IMMEDIATELY sent me a replacement unit, which was perfect.
I later discovered that I had misidentified the input output impedances on my amp, and had consequently ordered the wrong part. Never mind, Accutronics took back the one I had mistakenly ordered, and replaced it with the correct spec part.
They spent HOURS with me on the telephone and by email - for one little part. I'm no big-time dealer, just an average one-piece consumer....
Best customer service in the music world - bar none.

Accutronics reverb units and service are the best in the world. I wish every company supported their customers the way Accutronics does....it would be a better world.
Build a superior product, and stand behind it.....is that so hard?
One of the cheapest, and most strikingly effective, upgrades you can provide a guitar amplifier. Turns an average or below-average sounding amp into a winner....
Accutronics knows how to do it.
