I feed it with my Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp, the two sends go to an Eventide gtr4000 and to a Digitech gsp 2101.
No noise more than the effects already have.
I find it very difficult to go back and hear my digital effects without that tubey sweetness and richness that it gives.
Tubes do also add those natural harmonics and sense of being close to the sound.
When you feed the output valves at highest volumes, you don't saturate, but you can feel a sense of warm compression.

I have it since two years and I haven't had a problem.
I would go gigging without a backup, maybe some spare tubes as I do with my preamp.

I have never had the chance to talk with them. No reason.

I play from improvising jazz/blues to ambient.
I also use a Boss gx-700 and Oberheim Echoplex.
It helped me very much in developing my playing: think about having a nice saturated sound in parallel with a well compressed clean chorused sound, to add or not without any midi configurations, just with a tap... wonderfull.

Very easy to make it sound. It is basically a mixer for line signal, it has been created to permit to a guitar (or any other instrument) player to have always three channels to work on at disposal on a switch pedal. You can have the dry (directly from pre-amplifier), send a, or send b; you switch them all together or however you want.
The signal passes through valves before feeding the output. This means that all strange harmonics from digital effects receive a real coloration.
This unit exists in three models: vintage, custom and limited.
They are different in the tube types and characters.
Manual is very clear (made by guitar players).
This unit has three controls. Working on the send level or on the dry level depends from the dynamic you want to reach, but working on the master out level is an experience: you can hear warmness and harmonic richness of tube valves in your digital effects, with no distortion the sound opens.

I use it with a Studio Pro Mesa Boogie Pre-amplifier. Its out goes into the missing link. Send A of the M.L. goes to a Digitech 2101 in loop with a Boss GX 700; send B goes in to an Eventide gtr 4000. Their outputs goes respectively into return A and return B of the M.L.
It is not noisy in itself you have to be carefull with the effect's volume settings.
The "effect" that you can reach is depending of how deep you work on creating effects that are thought to have sense in parallel: you can have a delayed pitch transposing on a send, a compressed overdirven sound on the other send and Always the clean, non processed sound, of you preamplifies at disposal to have attack.
Creatively, working on delay and loops is fantastic: the switch opens and closes the send, not the return, you never cut delays or loops.
The distortion of my Gsp 2101 and Gx 700 get a tubey life, althought they could be digital.

The guys (it is a small laboratory) are very kind and friendly. We have become friends after a while.
It has been possibile to have suggestions on different tubes to use, but I kept the original ones

I play guitar for 16 years.
I play rock with a band and Ambient alone.
In a Rock contest I see it very usefull for the dynamic boost it can give, but also to make processed distortion alive and for having an effected sound under I can add a clean (or whatever) sound to switch on/off in real time with no midi work.
If I was stolen I would sure re-buy it.
The competitors of this mixer could be the Custom Audio Systems, but they do not have tubes althought if they sure could have more connections at disposal; anyway they sure are pricey.
I have been really happy when i knew someone was making this device.
I was using different volume pedals and a mixer before, the Missing Link solved me the problem of too many cables on the stage and gave me more with the tubes.
