I ordered this out of a Montgomery Ward catalog in the early 60's. I used it with a Fender Strat and Bandmaster amp and remember it sounding pretty good. Since then I have lost the tubes for it and have no schematic. If someone could tell me what kind of tubes it takes I would really like to get it working again.

I would like to contact the company that made it if they are still in business, if anyone knows please contact me.

I had this when surf music was popular. It worked well for that.

It's a simple reverb box, and mine is a beauty.

Sound Quality : 8
I get some strange sounds and some wonderful sounds! I'm a harp player only and use mainly a calrad 400c mic or an old brown bullet running through one of two amps i own - a 60's kalamazoo model two and a 1962? lectrolab r600c. They both sound great with this reverb unit, though the lectro is my fav.

Reliability?, well I guess it's about 40? years old, "feets don't fail me now"

This thing looks cool and sounds cool. I bought it knowing it was very mint and thinking i could make a few bucks on it...
You'll have to pry it from my grip on my deathbed, it's a thing of beauty

This is a big black tolex box with with a rusy plate on top. It has some jacks, an intensity knob, a treble/bass/normal knob, and a switch for reversing the polarity. It's very easy to get spooky reverb sounds out of it. It uses 1/4" on/off footswitch. Tubes and Springs.

Sound Quality : 7
I bought this to add reverb to my '70's Princeton. Guitars going into it are a Strat and a Danelectro 12 string. The sound is great. It's a dark, sinister surf type sound. It's quite noisy at times, other times it's quiet, depending on the time of day and where I stand. Treble setting buzzes, bass setting is quiet, normal setting picks up my least favorite radio station. These things don't bother me much, but since a "10" is pristine I guess I can't give it a ten. By the way I tested a reissue '63 Fender reissue reverb at the shop and it was quite weak by comparison. Maybe there was something wrong with it.

Reliability : No Opinion
I don't know what would go wrong with it.

Overall Rating : 8
I feel like I paid too much for it. My enthusiasm gets the better of me. But I'm glad I bought it, it's cheaper than a new amp. If I lost it("now where did I put that big black box?"), I would consider trying to find another. It sounds better than the reverb built into amps.
