Ease of Use : 5
First off you must understand tone and how to tweeze Parametric eq's and tube amps to get this discontinued box's full potential to
work. Once you experiment you will hear complexity beyond most set ups. It took me some time in the begining but over the years I can now hook it up in a minute and have killer tone. Allans Passive Tube Power Amp to Line Level Converter is just another great tool if one can find one to have in yer tool box. The Manual is straight forward
and shows several different setups.

Sound Quality : 10
My setup is a custom Warmoth Srat, Charvel neck custom pickups or Tom Anderson Hollow Cobra > true bypass wawa > Tube Amp Speaker out> "HARNESS"> Ashly Parametric EQ> Rocktron Intellifex > several Lexicon processors> Soundcraft Board > Hafler stereo amp> 2 single 12" cabs.
What you get here, is the ability to crank up your tube pre and power section LOUD, run that into effects and control the volume with a stereo. It's very bad ass...

Reliability : No Opinion
Can I depend on it...Ha....so far so good.
I have used it live and there is no back up.
My back up is to just take it out and go into the amp and speaker.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Allen may or may not turn me down to have it fixed. But who knows he may just say sorry... Next time I see him I will ask fer the hell of it to see what he says.

Overall Rating : 10
I play jazz rock fusion and it is great for the Allan Holdsworth,
Scott Henderson horn tones. I've been playing for 30 years and also
like the Yamaha DG Stomp like Allan.
If it were lost, that would be it. Maybe try the Palmer or the SE Groove Tube.
It helps produces full body tones at nice volumes you just can't get
with a regular plug and play saturated Tube amp.
