Totally blew me away.. clean and dirty sweeps at your disposal, very full and menacing to soft and subtle sounding sweeps. mach it up and you have a very watery bubbly sound to it VERY different from other Boss phasers.. very unique, in my opinion BETTER sound, less digital more analog. phasers arent my favorite effect, but if i was to have one in my arsenal, amdeks the way to go!!

this babys been around for a long long time and the wear has shown, but it works without a hitch. 9v power supply different from boss's standard, so i can only use a 9v battery until i get that... but it lasts forever.. so far.. i heard these were build them yourself pedals.. looks pro to me..

this i have to say is a full and unique phaser sound. very unlike other 'typical' boss [i understand this is subcomp], i much prefer this. grittier, fuller.

so far so good. not too much to screw up. i bought it used at a junk shop minus battery casing, and i havent the old power supplies for this, so i have to use a 9v which is falling out always, but i love it. looked hard to find info on it, etc

Hi
Just wanted to say that, as far as I can remember, Amdek were made by BOSS, but were supplied in kit-form, ie you had to assemble them yourself.

Its a phaser. Its based upon the Boss ph1r: Depth, Rate, Feedback. Switch. Needs a dc9v adapter or a battery...

The sound is similar to the ph1r, but its not as versatile. Not noisy. Worked well with my beebaa fuzz..

The switch. The pedal hadnt been used for years but I kicked it on, but Ill have to fix it anyway. I find most of these old pedals still hang on after a while, its usually the switch....
