Ease of Use : 10
it truely doesn't get any simpler than a 3 knob pedal. level, tone and overdrive. it's no problem to get a good sound out of it, etiher. the tone is very wide and can please just about anyone, as is the overdrive. goes from just plain overdrive to a heavy distortion.

Sound Quality : 8
epiphone sg - ampeg A3 - ibanex de-7 (delay) - ross practice bass amp. this amp should get a glowing revue all of it's own, but that's another story...

i haven't tested it with an adapter yet, but there's virtually no noise when you use it with a battery. i'm not a big fan of how it sounds with the overdrive turned down, but i didn't buy it for that. i bought it for the amount of distortion that you can get out of it. very nice. it still lets your guitars tone come through, but adds a very nice amount of distortion.

Reliability : 10
so far so good. i've got about 5 or 6 different distortion/overdrive pedals now, so i can't say i would gig without a backup, but i would feel confident that it wouldn't die on stage.

Customer Support : No Opinion
no comment as i haven't dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 9
i play a variety, ranging from softer stuff a la modest mouse to heavier stuff, a la high on fire or sleep. i've been playing guitar for about 4 years and bass guitar for about 9. i'm looking forward to trying it out with my bass, but it's currently broken, so who knows...

finding a decently priced big muff around my neck of the woods is near impossible, and i found that this pedal, although it didn't give the same sound as a big muff, it gave me something that was half similar, but with more tone. i'm sure i could add another of my distortions (maybe the danelactro octave distortion?)to the mix to beef up the sound if i wanted to.

seeing as it appears to be a bit of a hard to find pedal, i'm not sure if buying another would be possible if lost, but i would certainly try to find another.
