I using with VOX AC-30 1962, Fender Pro-Reverb, Fender Super60, Laney VC30.
Guitars Gibson 347, BluesHawk, 330. Gretsch Country Classic II, Dual Anniversary .Ibanez 175, Gb-10.
So silent that you can use in between guitar and preamp in amps like VOX AC-30 that have not FX loop
Never masks the tyical sound if any guitar/amplifier combinations.
I use for playing The Shadows and country

I have tape echoes from Dynachord,Klemt, Roland, LEM, Binson.Has all the sound of tape echo without the associated problems.
Any feature is so easy to adjust that I love all the simulations (Meazzi, Binson, Roland).
The only thing missing is this kind of odd echoes I can get from Dynacord

Amtech AGE-1 is an analog delay device. It was built to simulate the sound of early tape echo machines. AGE-1 is controlled directly by knobs. They are input level, tone, feedback, speed, echo level and 6 position selector of different delay types. There is also knob behind the device. This knob adds tape echo type flutter and wow to sound giving the delay very living sound. Very easy to use.

Sound quality is overally great. You can actually feel like using a real tape-echo! You turn the speed knob, the speed changes slovly, as a real tape echo device changes tape speed! You can do many tricks with it. For example you can overdo the feedback, so that every reflection is louder. It's great for rock'n roll, it's great for surf, it's great for everything.

Difficult to obtain. The company manufactures very few units/year.

For me this device is a must. In fact I have 2 of them. With 2 I get more complex echoes. It is expensive way compared to digital delays, but the sound is far better! An unique device!
