It has only two knobs,but is tough to get a good sound.

I play several stomp boxes in the following order:guitar,fuzz face,Fulltone wah(with Dave Fox mod),MXR Dyna comp,TS-9(with Analog man TS-808 mod),late 70s big muff,Zoom power drive PD-1,old TC chorus flanger,Z.Vex Super hard on(I get it from Mike),old Kitty Hawk amp with 2 E Voice 12" Speakers,an Intelifex in the loop.It sounds not very well for me the Fuzz face allone,but in combination with other pedals:GREAT!!!One of my favorite sounds:Fuzz face Dirt on 6(max.8),level on 7(max .8),Zoom PD-1.I play a custom Tele with a S.Duncan STK-T1b pick up in the bridge.The volume on the guitar is on 6-8 ,the sound is alive,a lot of armonics,sustain,balls.GREAT!!!With a Strat,volume on guitar 2-3 the sound is clean,wery transparend like an old Fender amp.Thank you Mike.
