Ease of Use

This pedal has one knob for phase speed and an on-off switch...pretty easy.

I have used quite a few phase pedals including the Maxon 350 phase and the Homebrew Psilocybe phase shifter (a good one too!) of late...as well as quite a few vibe pedals including the Fulltone, Mojo, and KR Vibe. I just wanted the thick and simple phase sound of VH and David Gilmour etc...nothing fancy cause I don't use it often. Well I have had a few MXR phase 90 pedals and they have never performed near as good as this 74' re-issue does. I got the true bypass and LED as well as AC adapter mods...the pedal is thicker and more musical than the later model ones I have owned in the past. The loudness doesn't vary when engaged and it doesn't suck tone either way...the pedal has a more warm musical character to it that just responds in a sweeter way than the slight harshness when pushed with OD pedals of its predecessors. Just what I was looking for!
Reliability
:
No Opinion
Analog Mike is a stand up guy! never a problem with any his pedals and I have owned well over 2 dozen of them.

As good as it gets!

This is living up to the 'Handwired' hype of warmth, quiet operation and musicality with outstanding tone.
