Ease of Use

Very easy to use. Two knobs, volume and sustain. My unit has the attack knob inside (once set I never touch it). The device comes with very detailed instructions but I doubt you'll need them.

I have to admit that I am a compressor snob. I believe a good compressor should not effect the attack of your instrument, should even out your loud and soft notes, add a bit of fatness and should NOT add noise. I've been using a Way Huge compressor since I bought it new many years ago. Currently using a Tele with Barden pickups into the AnalogMan Compressor (half Saffron Squeeze/half Ross clone) then into an Xotic RC Boost pedal into an Ernie Ball volume pedal. My amp is a Tone King Comet 40A with a Way Huge Aqua Puss Analog delay in the effects loop. The AnalogMan sounds very similar to the Saffron Squeeze (maybe even a bit better because of the attack setting).
Reliability

The unit seems to be well made with quality components (i.e., Heavy duty switch, case, knobs, etc.). I would use the device at a job without a backup but considering the price of this unit, why not by a spare.
Customer Support

The company responds quickly to questions or comments. I received my device in just a few days from the time I ordered it.

I play country and classic rock, and have been playing for about 40 years (I'm an old guy). If you're looking for a compressor that doesn't squash your notes down to a trickle, doesn't add a false sustain at the end of your note, doesn't decrease your highs, and doesn't soften your attack this may be the pedal for you. The Harmony Central instructions say not to rate a product with all 10's, but what can I do with a product like the AnalogMan Compressor?
