It is both easy and difficult to use. I use it the easy way - I just leave it set on chromatic and leave it set at the default preset and it works great for me. The difficult way is to start messing with the parameters - setting to a specific key. I never know what keys my songs are in so that makes it tough for me.

Sounds great! I don't notice any unwanted artifacts. The sound is the same but it's more in tune!

I'm not the greatest singer. I run all my vocal tracks through this and my singing actually sounds better! When another singer sings with me on a song, I run her vocals through it too and our voices fit together really well after auto-tuning.
It has LED lights that show how far out of tune you are. - very cool.
This is one of the best pieces of equipment I've purchased.

Relatively easy to set up and use, you will have to specify the chords used in a song in the set-up or you can use it chromatic mode. In chromatic it looks at the in coming pitch versus every possible chord and corrects it to the nearest one, if you specify chords it is more accurate. Also has song mode and uses midi. A few quirks you need to know: will not correct instruments that are playing multipul pitches at one time( example 6 stings on a guitar, steel guitar, banjo). I is designed primarily for vocals but will work on a few instruments that play single notes. It can only correct 1 voice at a time, not a group of voices together.

Sound quality is excellent, no noise, very transparent. I run a recording studio and I use it for correcting tracks during mixdown. It could probably be used during a performance but it may through you off somewhat because you are singing one pitch and another is coming out.
It is designed with the intent that the singer is withing 100 cents of being on the correct pitch. It is not a fix all but it can make a vocal more pleasent to listen to and overall more pleasing to the ear because you are guessing pitch when singing and it is seldom perfect, even with the best of singers. In short it does a very good job of making a good vocal better, it cannot correct terrible singing or vocal expression. This unit can also add a nice vibrato to a voice lacking it. It looks for a sustaining note. It has a number of settings for that such as rate, depth, time delay from sustaining note until vibrato is applied, etc.

I have had it about 3 months and no problems. Nicely built, good display and switches and that kind of thing.

Overall rating: it is very pricey, would be a good value if it went for around $300. The Digitech Vocalist EX can do the pitch correction, add vibrato plus give you harmonies. It is a better buy and gives you more bang for the buck. I have the Ex also, I did not know it would do the pitch correction and that is why I got the Antares first. I would have bought 2 Vocalist EX if I knew it.
