The Sunday Driver doesn't come with a manuel ( well mine didn't) but it is pretty to work out. Output knob, Gain Knob and the 6 way filter switch do pretty much what you expect. There is also an on off switch and a boost switch. This boosts signal and gain of output. Sounds great. The knobs are all cool old looking chicken head dials.

Overall Sunday Driver is very easy to use, try all the filter postitons to find what suits you, how much gain you want and away you go.

I play a Tele Deluxe plus with a Blues JR deluxe ( with the jensen speaker) which i love the sound of. I play funk soul hip hop and Jazz, sometimes some blues gigs. I was after a pedal that could colour my tone alittle without becoming the sound of overdrive or distortion. I came across the sunday driver which i use when i need a little more drive or a bit of a different tone. It gets used probably 1/4 of the time i am on stage to great results. It was just what i was after because i can still hear the tone of my guit an amp. Very cool.
Also when the rock pig in me needs a run i can get a killer rock tone.

Only critism i have is i wish i could set the amount of gain in the "boost" switch because i find it just a little too much of a change in volume.

But like i said i am a groover not a rocker so i probably don't use this pedal to its rock capabilities.

I use thie pedal in an effects line of Dunlop wah, model T,( soemtimes some envelope filters) Line 6 delay. It is silent with a true bypass....fantastic!

Reliability : 10
I haven't had a problem so far, i have had it for 3 months. I always gig without back up ( a gig per week at least), but i don't use it in every song..

Before i bought this pedal i was talking to Greg at Aphek ( he is the owner of company )i asked lots of questions trying to determine which aphek pedal was for me. Greg was very helpful and patient and helped me make th ebest choice. I paid for the pedal and it reached me within a week and he offers a 30 day money back garauntee if you aren't happy.

Great service

I play Funk/groove stuff, hip hop, jazz, as well as some good old blues. Pedal is Versatile for sure. My tone is pretty old school but that is due to amp/guit.
What can i say, i love the pedal, suits what i do and $200 Aud is great value.

It is fairly impossible to get a bad sound out of this little box of magic. I thought nothing could improve on the Aphek Peanut Butter but they have taken a Peanut Butter and stoked it full of steroids. So yeah, it's easy to use. just plug your guitar in and play

Sound Quality : 10
This pedal sounds great with every amp I have tried. We've used it through a Marshall1/2 stack, a small Marshall Studio 15, a Fender twin, direct, with some edx added, .....It always sounds great. The beauty of the Sunday Driver, like it's cousin the Peanut Butter, is that the sound of the amp always comes through. It does not color the sound , just makes it easier to get to a spot where the amp sounds great. The words, rich, creamy, and Holy Grail of overdrive, come to mind.If U sound bad using this pedals, it's your guitar or amp that sucks. The Sunday Driver is my main overdrive pedal these days. When I want the sound of the Peanut Butter but with more distortion, i reach for my Sunday Driver.

Reliability : 10
It's built solid and so far, no problems. Aphek makes well built stuff.

I play a large variety of music.I do a lot od session work, make sample CDs for Zero G, produce CDs,write TV music, record my own cds etc...In the course of a day it's not unusual for me to make some hip hop loops in the morning, go play some screaming metal on a session, come home write a country oriented Jingle, work on a children's cd, then practice be bop till I fall asleep. I DEMAND variety from my equipment. The Sunday Driver has filled a real void for me. Good overdrive tone is always available to me now, and quickly. U plug it in and it sounds great. Is'nt that what a pedal is supposed to do?

Dead easy to use, Gain and volume plus a six position filter that allows for the perfect amount of presence at low gain, and allows you to filter the top end as you add gain. This works great.

Has the standard true bypass on/off switch plus a boost switch.

Sound Quality : 9
Sound quality is excellent if you want natural "power amp" break up at any volume level from your valve amp. This is fabulous in the low gain region, perfect for just on the edge of break up or just above the edge of break up region.

Also works well with the gain up, but is brilliant in the lower gain area. Very transparent, very real power amp overdriven sound.

This is not a high gain pedal but it has a "boost switch" that adds the perfect amount of volume plus mids and a touch of bass to make lead breaks stand out of the mix. I don't have a "mid hump tube screammer" in my set up so this has saved me the trouble (and the money) of buying one.

I already have too many O.D. pedals including - Tech21 XXL , Tube Zone from MI Audio that is FANTASTIC, Hot Cake, Miji Blues. I run into a 3 channel "Mesa Nomad 45" and I rarley use anything but the clean channel with the pedals. I have a USA Standard Fender Tele and a Made in Japan 1981 Ibanez Artist - This pedal sound great with both guitars

Reliability : No Opinion
I hav'nt had it long enough to be 100% sure but it came with a two year warrantee and a 10 day money back trail period. Plus - the guy who makes the pedals owns the business - he is genuine and helpfull so I have no fears about reliability at all, I'd never bother with wanting a backup.

Customer Support : 10
I have emailed the business a few times and I've always had prompt and very helpfull replies.
I also own a Peanut Butter Distortion from the same manufacurer, so I guess I was happy enough to go back for a second time.

I play rock, blues, ballads, a little of everything including funk and heavier rock. This pedal makes me want to play, and yes I would want to replace it if lost/stolen.
