Simple, three-knob interface, but figuring out how the Mojo and Fuzz knobs interact takes a bit of experimentation. However, with only three knobs to worry about, it isn't very hard at all.

There are many, many useful sounds in this unit. Wide sweet spots. Even the less sonically appetizing sounds (like Fuzz and Mojo maxed, very spitty/sputtery with chords) are fascinating in their own way and will get used by plenty of people. My favorite setting for the unit is Fuzz maxed, mojo at around 2 o'clock. Great definition, great clarity, and fuzzy as can be!

Sound Quality : 10
I'm giving it a 10/10 here. I could not in good faith vote otherwise.

I used to hate fuzz. This has changed my mind. Enough said.

I'm running this into a THD Univalve. The THD is a fairly bright amp, though I roll its treble back to control the overbrightness. This fuzz + that amp = amazing.

Reliability : 9
Well, I picked it up in a trade. I have opened it up and checked it out. A bit rough-hewn inside, but it's a mark of its hand-made character ;) Everything is well soldered. I have no worries about this unit holding up to use. I do not abuse my gear, though the sturdy enclosure and chassis-mounted input, output, power in, and switch makes me think it would hold up even to abuse.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Since I got it second hand, I can't really comment... but Keith seems like a nice guy from everything I've read. He posts on the Harmony Central forums every once in awhile.

Overall Rating : 10
I play blues, jazz fusion, and prog/thrash metal. Needless to say, this pedal is more for the first two than the last one. It's got an awesome sound, and I have a feeling I'll be looking into getting a Soul Patch soon. Aramat effects are well-made, sound amazing, and priced very well considering they're decidedly "boutique." There isn't much in a Fuzz Face circuit, but you just know that going in and have to understand that cost-to-build doesn't equal market value or worth. It's either worth it to you or it isn't, so make up your mind on that and you'll be fine :)

3 knobs Volume, Fuzz and Mojo that changes the texture of the fuzz from fuzz-overdrive to fuzztortion. All controls interact well and respond well to guitars volume/tone adjustments.

Sound Quality : 10
Guitars:Tele nashvill,Epiphone 335, Banshee by Schecter ( like a fender cyclone)

Pedals path: Nebula>Mojo>Germania>Soulbender>Budda>Crunch Box>Blues Pro> Sonic Boom>Black Fuzz>Volume pedal>Mobius Feedback looper with a old USA DOD FX90 Analog Delay in the loop.

Amps: Fender'65 Super Reverb RI. and a Carvin Nomad

First this is a dark sounding fuzz. I'm use to dialing out treble on most pedals rather than add .The mojo by being dark works great in a bright rooms or halls.Having a pedal that can be on the dark side can save the day(gig)!

Second I found different Batterys or use of an AC adaptor can effect the operation of this pedal . I like the sound of a carbon battery powering the pedal. But, Alkaline batteries are recommend for best operation.

Third this pedal works great with all other pedals and guitars . My favorit combo is my 335 neck pickup with the tone knob turn all the way down .I set the Mojo for high gain fuzz then run it into a treble booster(Germania)thats turn all the way up for Claptons Women tone .Alone I hit the early Hendrix sound and playing slide with the Mojo I git a fat sound.

Reliability : 10
Built Like A Tank ! I have two other fuzz pedals in my line up but if the Mojo crapped out(but it won't) I would miss it .There is no subbing for the sound of the MOJO !

Customer Support : 10
The best in the business . Keith goes above and beyond .

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 20 years and have tried lots of Fuzz Face type of pedals and Keiths take on the fuzz face I like the best .His customer service is top notch. I would buy a pedal from him again . I feel that I have finaly rounded out my Fuzz tone texture with the Mojo. I'm very happy I bought it. I can nail the early/mid '60s fuzz sound and also can play rock , blues and country with it yes I said country .

Very easy to use and get a good sound. Vol , fuzz level and mojo. True bypass, led and a/c jack.

Like the last reviewer says...hard not to get a good sound regardless of where it is set! I first ordered a Soul Patch Fuzz from Keith but found it to be too aggressive(great pedal too). He exchanged it for the MF . Sounds friggin great! I have avoided using fuzz because most other Fuzz pedals sound too raspy...this one is warm and smooth! It goes from a mild boost to a heavy fuzz.
Instant gratification!

Build quality looks good!

3 knobs, all very interactive with each other. It's hard not to find what you're looking for here. Goes from a very mild overdrive type sound to full-on craziness. It's very musical at all settings and extremely transparent.

Sound Quality : 10
Works great with all my Fender amps (59 Bassman RI, BF Champ, Pro Jr) and all my guitars (tele, Gretsch, Guild, etc) Impossible not to get a good, useable sound at any setting. It seems very intuitive, like it know what other pedals you're using with it and what it should do. I have it behind the aforementioned TS9 and it takes the boost nicely. It's also after my Vox Wah and when the wah is engaged, the Mojo almost seems to recognize that and turn itself off so I get an unpolluted wah sound. Wah goes off and there's the Mojo, dirt-ing things up for me again. Responds well to changes in guitar volume and doesn't color the tone. You know a tele's a tele.

Reliability : 10
Built like the proverbial tank (although I must have missed that day at Sunday school). If I couldn't depend on *it*, I know I could depend on the Aramat owner/tech/guru, Keith. I have no doubt that if I called with a problem in 1, 5, or even 10 years that Keith would do everything he could to make everything right.

Customer Support : 10
Unbelievable. Had an issue with the germaniums, which was probably due to the fact that I stupidly didn't wait long enough to use it when I got it so it went from a hot mailbox to my board and I probably cooked it. No questions asked. Sent it back and now it cooks but in a good way.

Overall Rating : 10
If it were stolen I'd ask keith to overnight a replacement. I would really have trouble playing without it.
It's a good match for any kind of music. Even on the lower settings you get a nice useable sound, which can't be said for some other effects. Sounds just as sweet with my hollowbody Gretsch as it does with my tele or Les Paul. It's all good people!

I am very amaze with the sound and versatility, true bypass, quiet may get a little noise when maxed. Good chord definition. The thing I really love about the Mojo that its sound very good with my V847 Vox wah. It has a good sustain and lots of gain and when you roll back your guitar volume it cleans up real nice( with no tone loss nor low end.The wah sounds better after the Mojo. My setup; strat or les paul> rotovibe> mojo fuzz> vox wah> marshall TSL100 combo. I like to dial P-Funk's Eddie (Maggot Brain) Hazel fuzztone and definely the classic hendrixian fuzzface tone.

This thing is built like a tank, the inside was neat. I had its for two weeks, looks its will stand the test of time.

Keith really do answer emails promptly, and he was real friendly, that make me feel he's ready to TCB if I have problems with this product.

I play blues, classic rock, funk. This is a big improvement of fuzztone and the best deal for the quality it has. I own the Dunlop FF, Big and the Double Muff. These pedals can't deliver true classic fuzztone that I being looking for; the wah sounds like crap with these pedal. If lost or stolen I would buy another in a heartbeat. I was ready to buy the analogman sunface, I listen to bought of the sound clips of these pedals and Mojo hit the tone I been searching for. You got to check this baby out! Thanks to Keith and Aramat Effects for helping netrualize fizzytone syndrome!

Ease of Use : 9
It's pretty easy to use, just 3 pot's...volume, fuzz and mojo. Increase the vol. and it gets louder!...Increase the fuzz and you get more fuzz!..the mojo is harder to explain, the biggest effect it has is to increase the sustain, but it also has the more subtle effect of giving you more richness and depth of tone. I got warm, pleasing tones straight out of the box, but it took me a couple of hours of playing with the settings of the pedal and the pick-up selector and tone control on my guitar before I really got the best out of it.

Sound Quality : 9
I'm very happy with the sound. I play a 1978 standard Fender Telecaster into a 1964 Fender Bassman piggie back amp (AA864 circuit) with a 2x12" cabinet. I play rhythm in a band and this pedal provides me with both smooth, warm break-up and some nice crunch when needed as well as full fuzz for BRMC type sounds. When playing on my own I like to play SRV licks, Hendrix and John Frusciante's funk style. The pedal is very versatile and sounds awesome for all of this, it can really nail Hendrix!

Reliability : 7
The electronics are housed in a rugged die cast aluminium box, no thrills (not painted). The pot's, footswitch and jacks all seem good quality. When you open the box, the wiring looks pretty messy and I must admit that build quality could be a lot better. The circuit board has been very roughly cut out and a few wires have melted insulation from the soldering iron....at least you know it's hand made! At the heart of the beast is two vintage germanium pnp transisters, I'm not sure if these old transisters are as reliable as modern day silicon transisters, but it's the non linear gain and distortion characteristics of these little fellas that give the pedal such a nice warm sound. I think it will stand the test of time, but the build quality could be better so I'll give it 7.

Customer Support : 9
Excellent! Keith is very helpful and answered my emails very quickly. The pedals took a few weeks to arrive, but Keith did warn me that they would take longer to build as he had been very ill and his energy levels were very low.

I've been playing guitar about 6 years, but only a couple of years on electric. I own a Retroman Beano (great pedal) and was going to get the Lola fuzz pedal to go with it, but a mate of mine accidentally ordered two Mojo Fuzz pedals instead of one so I decided to have one of them and I'm glad I did. If it was lost or stolen I'd almost certainly get another, but I'd like to put it up against the Lola because I've read great things about that pedal too. If I had to choose again without hearing the Lola first then I'd pick the Mojo Fuzz as I know it sounds awesome and it costs less.

Ease of Use : 9
pretty easy to use - there's some interaction between the knobs, so you have to play with your mojo and your fuzz a bit to get it sounding how you want.

Sound Quality : 9
the sound is quite nice - the only real basis of comparison I have is to a USA Big Muff. Whereas the Muff goes from 'heavy fuzz' to 'very heavy fuzz', this one goes from 'no fuzz' to 'heavy fuzz'. I would definitely say the two pedals have a different character - the muff is more saturated - but the mojo fuzz gets as heavy as I want. One of the things I wished I could do with the Big Muff is turn down the fuzz quite a bit. This pedal fits that desire. I use it mainly with a telecaster, fulltone bass drive, and ampeg superjet at low volumes. It sounds pretty good on bass too, though I tend to only want to add a bit of overdrive if using distortion on bass.

Reliability : No Opinion
seems reliable, looks real tough, but I've only had it for a couple months so I choose not to rate it. The input jack is a bit tight - it takes a bit of force to plug in - but I guess that's better than loose, isn't it?

Customer Support : 10
Customer service is A+, my emails were answered QUICKLY and informatively.

Overall Rating : 9
I give this pedal my seal of approval - of course, I haven't compared it to many other fuzz pedals on the market, I certainly felt like I spent my money in a good way.

Easy to use! You just need to get used to the interaction between te knobs as all 3 influence the overall volume. Once you got where you wanted stay off the knobs!

Sound Quality : 10
I use a fender strat, fender tele and a gibson standard SG into either a fender (Rivera) concert, Marshall jcm800 50w lead or a Mesa/Boogie .50 Caliber+ (all 3 tube combos).
Most of the time, the guitars go through a Fulltone Fulldrive2, a Boss CE-1 (chorus and vibrato), followed by the Mojo Fuzz and a fulltone '69 fuzz. Occasionally I plug in some other stuff in between, but these 4 have become my favorite main combination.
I always preferred to not use any effects and create my sound by cranking the amps. The only reason I got into using effects, was that my current band members don't like to play on high volumes anymore (one has some ear damage!). That's when I was starting my search for a more ear-friendly overdrive tone.
First I bought the FD2. As I am still very fond of my FD2, when I started out looking for a fuzz I first got interested in the Fulltone 69, but soon (thanks to harmony-central) my eye also fell on the mojo fuzz.
I now have both and with the above described chain I'm a very happy person. On some settings, the pedals sound alike, but they definitely have there own sound on most settings. That's what I used them for, as teamed up with the FD2 (which also has an additional boost), I can get some very nice characteristic sounds.
If I had to choose between the two, I would keep the mojo, because it just has more bottom or whatsoever I like in that sound (I still would miss the 69 though!).
I never use the guitar volume for clearing up the tone, just a fuzz on or off! Most of the time the fuzz is around 12 o'clock, volume and mojo vary! The pedal works best with the fender guitars. The SG is already hard to tame, but combining some slight fuzz with the guitar's sustain gives endless tones!
I first used to have a problem with the fuzz pedals and CE-1 chorus, as I put the fuzz pedals before the CE-1. The CE-1 sucked away all tone of the fuzz pedals. Putting the CE-1 in front of the fuzz pedals solved the problem (thanks Keith!).

Reliability : 10
No sweat! No backup needed (maybe a battery)!

I ordered the unit directly from Aramat.
Would definitly do it again. Very friendly, good service.
Keith is a nice guy to deal with and gives great support!

Styles: anything I like, mostly blues or rock'n roll based type of music. Never really took the time to learn anything. Still have no knowledge of chords or whatever musical theory. I just try to find out a way to play what I hear.
At the time I was lucky with the rate of the dollar vs the euro, but in the same situation I would definetely buy it again.
The mojo also works fine on low volumes. That's probably one of the reasons that I find myself practising at home more often these days. It's simply a very, very nice pedal, once you've discovered it's possibillities (and I haven't discovered all yet)!

Your standard Volume and Fuzz with the addition of the Mojo knob which is basically a bias knob. Very nice manual.

Sound Quality : 10
Heard and read about this pedal for awhile. Since I?m a sucker for everything Fuzz Face. I said to myself..OI gotta try this pedalO!

The pedal is housed in a rugged hammond box casing with a really bright red LED. The pedal is one of the loudest FF clone that I have played. It uses two germanium transistors (please don?t ask me what they are).

The pedal is a Fuzz Face clone thru and thru with a little modification. The addition of the OMojoO knob. Which is basically a ObiasO knob. Around 12 o?clock it sounds like your basic very good sounding FF. On maxed settings, it sounds fatter almost Big Muff-y. Though, not quite a Big Muff.

Fuzz: This knob allows you to dial the gain of the pedal. Between 9-12 o?clock....I?m telling you..it?s a very good overdrive pedal. And it also helps that the pedal is very transparent sounding, almost flat sounding. (think flat-mids Fulldrive)
Meaning...When you play your regular clean tone then, step on it. It?s almost like your amp was all of a sudden dimed to it?s maxed-fuzzed version. The pedal really acts like a part of your guitar and amp. Very much like the Fulltone O69, but with more gain and fuzz to tap.

Q: Does it clean up when you roll your guitar?s volume knob?
A: Yes it does, and very well indeed even on full fuzz.

Hendrix, Cream, Eric Johnson Fuzztones is just a stomp away!

I own '52 Tele and a '77 Deluxe going through a Vox AC30 amp

Reliability : 9
The wires and general construction of the pedal is top notch. No worries!

Customer Support : 10
Have dealt with Keith. He's a great guy to deal with. Answers all your questions and shipped the pedal fast with no hassle. I'm sure that If I needed some kind of repair or mod. He will do it in a heartbeat.

I have owned almost every boutique Fuzz face clone in the market from Fulltone, MJM, McFuzz, DinoFuzz, FoxRox, Arbiters, Dallas-Arbiters, Dunlop ..you name it..I probaly owned it or tried it. And I can honestly say that this pedal is on the top of my favorites. Great bang for the buck fuzz face clone. Don't waste your cash on a $200 Fuzz Face clone. This pedal will deliver for lesser dough. Two thumbs up!

Difficult to tweak. I was expecting much more out of this unit, and it took quite some time to find a "usable" sound for my specific purposes.

Sound Quality : 8
The good thing about this unit is that it's quiet as death. The only problem is it's inability to work with other pedals. I use a Voodoo Lab chorus and the power gets soaked from the fuzz. The pedal by itself sounds great, especially run through a Bassman or a Super Reverb, that is, after you've sat down for sevral hours looking for that elusive tone. The harmonic feedback it creates is really cool, and if I were a different kind of player, I would love this effct, but the effect is just too strong for my needs.

Reliability : 9
I haven't gigged with this unit, but it's built like a tank. The guts are solid, and you can tell there's good workmanship involved.

Customer Support : 9
Haven't dealt with Keith, other than ordering the pedal, but he seems pretty straightforward and friendly.

Overall Rating : 7
Overall, this pedal is well built and solid, but it doesn't quite get the kind of tone one would imagine. The "mojo" setting is incredibly versatile, but almost too much. It took a long time to get the sound I wanted. I own the "Green Machine" and I would have to say that it's the best unit I've heard from Aramat. Mojo Fuzz comes up a little short when compared to the other stuff he makes.

Ease of Use : 9
Very easy to use, 3 knobs; Volume, Mojo, Fuzz. Really easy to get great sounds out of it. My personal fav is Fuzz at 3 o'clock and Mojo at 2:30. Turning down the fuzz also decreases the volume, though, so you're best bet is to find the tone you like the most and stick with it.

Sound Quality : 10
This unit is extremely quiet. There is a faint hum if you dime all the knobs, but that's it. True Bypass, so it's totally silent when not engaged. This pedal could be a super clean boost, as the volume knob matches the output of the clean channel at about 2 o'clock with the Fuzz knob at 3 o'clock. The Fuzz and Volume knobs respond to each other, if you know what I mean. Like, the fuzz sound will be different at two different Volume settings, even if the Fuzz knob is at the same level. The Mojo knob controls the depth of the fuzz. It's impact on the sound is hard to describe. With the Mojo knob turned down, the effect is lighter and thinner--not my favorite, personally, but it still sounds great. As the Mojo knob is turned up, the fuzz gets more balls. With the knob dimed, you'll get speaker-death kinds of sounds; here's the kind of fuzz that'll make your amp shake even at low volumes.

The best part of this effect is that it's responsive to your playing and your guitar's volume knobs. Ease up a bit on the volume, the Mojo cleans right up. Same thing happens if you start playing with your fingers or pick very lightly.

Reliability : No Opinion
I haven't had it that long, but it looks pretty sturdy. The switch has a really strong feel when you step on it, so I have no suspicions of it cutting out on me. I opened it up to put the battery in, and everything was neat and tidy. It looked like room service had just visited my pedal. Everything was soldered cleanly, wires were organized, the insides of my Mojo are as happy as a clam.

Customer Support : 10
Keith was really great to deal with. He offered helpful information, offered me a discount (!) in his first e-mail to me, and was always very friendly. If my Mojo ever gets wounded, I have no doubts that Keith will fix 'er up nicely.

Overall Rating : 10
I play mainly slide guitar, and I just jam with friends for the most part. I haven't used the Mojo in a band setting yet, but I can't wait to do so. I wonder how it'll do in my bluegrass band...

I play a Samick LP copy-->Dano Pedal tuner-->Mojo Fuzz-->Line 6 DL4-->Ibanez Toneblaster 25R (hopefully to change to a Reverend Hellhound 40/60 in the near future). My guitar sounds surprisingly good plugged straight into a quality amp, but I'm not happy with it's clean tone in the Ibanez. The Mojo cures all that. It makes that amp sound like a quality tube amp. I can't wait to hear what it'll sound like actually plugged into a quality tube amp. Also, my DL4 instantly fell in love with the Mojo. Oh, wow does it ever sound good. It's so fat with when I play slide, it makes me feel all good inside.

"Oh, no! I've lost my Mojo!!" --I couldn't help myself.
If this thing were stolen, I'd cry for a while then kill the fucker that stole it. I'd buy another one if mine went away, no question. The Mojo is my instant ticket to that big, fat slide sound, and it does Hendrix tones with superb accuracy as well.

I also like the fact that the serial # is 0043. That makes me feel special.

Three pots: Volume, Fuzz and Mojo (bias), two germanium transistors, one red led, one DC adaptor compatible with the Boss power supply. It can also take 9 Volt batteries, but you have to unscrew the bottom of the pedal, which takes a while. It was clearly conceived with the adaptor in mind, I think. Stupid proof, lots of usable tones. I had it doing something I liked in about 30 secs.

Rickenbacker 330/Gibson The Paul Deluxe --> Boss TU-2 --> Keeley Mod Vintage Rat Reissue --> Aramat Mojo Fuzz -->Boss DD-3 --> Mid seventies Ampeg VT-22 (2x12" eminence speakers)

Very quiet for a fuzz, I think. It's only noisy when it's maxed out. True bypass, which is great! No unwanted noises, no pops and squeals when engaged. I like it?s versatility: it can go from light fuzz (good for rhythm playing) up to sizzling, crackly, speaker death-like sounds. At extreme settings, it adds quite a lot of sustain and low end. It doesn't bury the sound of your guitar, which I appreciate. Works well with the Rat engaged too, but it's better on it's own. Warm and smooth sounding on most settings.

Reliability : No Opinion
Well, I only had it for a couple of weeks now, but it looks pretty sturdy. It's enclosed in a thick walled metal box, and the footswitch looks big and solid. I think it will give me many years of hassle free playing. I?m careful with my stuff, without babying it, so it should be ok. I would use it without backup.

Keith (the man behind Aramat Effects) seemed nice and efficient. He seems serious about his pedals, so I'm sure he will help if a problem ever comes up.

First of all, I'm not big on giving 10's. But this pedel is so simple, you'd have to be dead to get a bad sound out of it after five seconds of fooling around.

Sound Quality : 9
My setup: A Strat, and Les Paul thru a Fender Deluxe (the perfect litmus test.) First, it sounds better through my strat, but not bad through my LP. It's not noisy at all for fuzz. You can crank up the mojo, and fuzz dials and get some cool "speaker death" sound. My favorite tone is Vol, Fuzz and Mojo all at 2 o'clock.

Reliability : 9
Opened it up to replace the battery and was dissapointed by the seemingly simple circuitry. But the damn thing is built like a tank! Heavy duty, oversized metal housing. Working without a backup for now, but I'm very confident that it's not going south.

Customer Support : 9
I've emailed a couple times, with very fast response. I've been using it for the past couple months with no problems, so no need for repair. It doesn't need upgrading.

Overall Rating : 9
I play with an original pop/rock/country/rap band (really.) I used the Mojo on a recent recording several times. I got different, very usable, tones for each tune. Not only do you get that classic fuzz that every pedal claims to have, but it's also quiet(if you want it to be), and it's very versitile! Buy it with confidence! I'm overly impressed.

Without repeating too much of what others have said this 3 knob fuzz pedal comes with a very basic 1-sheet basic overview of the pedal that explains the control settings, although it's pretty darn easy to figure out by yourself.

Sound Quality : 10
The "Mojo" is a very quiet pedal that replicates the classic "Fuzz Face" sound but with much more versatility mainly due to the mojo/gain knob. This control seems to add a punch to both the bottom end and sustaining characteristics of the fuzz effect. As with any fuzz pedal, coloration of tone happens but with the "Mojo" the tone coloring is minimal and the coloring that does occur is perfect for what this type of pedal should sound like. Yeah, Jimi would probably enjoy using this pedal. I've had the pedal for only a few days but I really like the sound it produces. An interesting side note is it can produce some of the self-oscillating (internal feedback) noises similar to a "Fuzz Factory" pedal. It's really fun to mess around with and I dig getting the sizzle fuzz fadeouts. This internal feedback is easy to control since it really doesn't happen until you start to max out the gain and fuzz controls, as they interact with each other. Also, as with other fuzz pedals, you need to run it into a clean amp to appreciate it's capabilities. I ran the "Mojo" into my Fender Vibro Champ, Trace Elliot Velocette, and I even used it front of my Boogie set up. My modified Fender strat w/EMG-S pick-ups was used in all 3 senarios and the "Mojo" sounded excellent through them all.

Reliability : 9
The pedal appears to be well constructed, so I see no problem in durability and reliability. I haven't had it long enough to rate it a 10 though.

Keith was very friendly in his emails and I have no doubt he'll be the same should customer support be neccessary.

To recap, the Mojo Fuzz is an excellent sounding fuzz pedal, well constructed, and a great value for the money. The quiet operation and the bonus gain control sets this pedal apart from the other fuzz face type clones out there.

Simple... 3 knobs... Volume/Mojo/Fuzz. Within seconds you can dial in amazing fuzz!!!

I use a DeArmond M-77T, 68' Fender Pro Reverb and the following chain: Budda Bud-Wah, Mojo Fuzz, Rocktron Vertigo Vibe, Ross Phaser, Ibanez FL-99 Flanger, EH Multiplexer, Voodoo Labs Tremolo and Analog Delay. The Mojo Fuzz is thick, rich, and very musical. Two Germanium transistors, excellent jacks, interior/exterior parts and switch, flawless workmanship. NO NOISE!! I was looking for a fuzz that landed between a Yardbox and Fuzz Factory... the Mojo Fuzz is exactly that.

Reliability : 10
Built like a tank... no need for back-up.

Keith is fantastic to deal with. He answers every email in a timely fashion. Fast shipping, packaging, the works.

I play "Indy" rock, about 15 years now, and the Mojo Fuzz is the kind of pedal I've been waiting for. Keith and Aramat Effets are now my number one source of fuzz!

Three knobs. 1) volume 2) mojo (tone) 3) fuzz
dial in what you want

Sound Quality : 10
setup was a 50 watt 68 traynor voicemaster (think plexi)
strat with kinman noiseless in the bridge
the mojo sounds just like the hendrix tones i heard from that famous Monterey Pop Festival when he burnt his guitar and smashed it up... that guitar that looks like that Hendrix strat that goes for a way too many clams...
this is by far the best fuzz i have ever used... it is smooth + thick and doesn't have that annoying sag... it is very very hendrix...
sounds great when you roll back the volume on the guitar and when you go full out... again think Hendrix... that fat singing fuzz sound he was so famous for...

Reliability : No Opinion
just got it... i don't plan on purchasing another for i don't have the money for that... and since i just got it i cannot tell you how reliable it is...

again due to the fact that i just purchased it and have not had any problems with it i cannot tell you how helpful Keith is in this area... however, i can say that he was friendly with me as a buisness man selling his pedal to me over the internet... no complains here.

I haven't tried out any of MJM's fuzz collection... but I don't think I need to for this Mojo Fuzz is simply "The Bomb" and the price is nicer than MJM's fuzz products... so there you have it I am tight with the money even though I know I can't take it with me when I die - so why am i concerned about money - go figure. But if I get more GAS I may just get one of MJM's products but I may get delivered from GAS and just quit guitar and grow up to be more like Jesus and save the world from the Devil. That would be fine with me... for the Devil has hurt many people by giving people bad advice which - when acted upon destroys their souls (for example - Hendrix ODing or me or anyone else getting hooked on drugs or some person becoming a sex offender or killing themselves.. etc.) ... hence the need for a savior - someone who can fix broken people... here I come in (following in the footsteps of JEsus) to save these destroyed people and bingo the world is a better place and heaven gets populated and hell is emptied... the Devil is defeated and all Heaven rejoices... Actually, Jesus says that anyone can follow Him and do that sort of thing... that is what He says... anyhow... so if you like fuzz and you like the Fuzz Face tone Hendrix gets in his better recordings and concerts... get the Mojo Fuzz pedal... seriously... it is a good one.
