Easy to use, but if you're not careful thee knobs might fall off in your hand cos it's cheap and nasty

If you've never used a compressor and then plug this in, you may think, 'yeah, that sounds a bit different', or you may well think, 'why did I just pay for a box that does nothing?'. If you have used a compressor and it was a better one than this (which wouldn't be hard) then you'd be thinking 'why did I just pay for a box that does nothing?', cos basically it's rubbish. If you buy cheap tat you get a cheap effect. It's really ****. End of.

Waste of time and money. Spend a little more, get a better compressor, and then you might actually get your tone smoothed out and scuplted to sounf good and produce good sustain. This doesn't even make a good doorstop cos it's so light and flimsy. I'm glad i was given this, cos i wouldn't pay for it.

It works just like all Compressors do, so there's no problem in setting it, three knobs for volume, attack and sustain. That is all, as easy as can be.

It's a FANTASTIC pedal you can hardly get a bad sound out of. I use the ACP-1 with my Gibson SG, through a vox wah and a boss chorus into a marshall valvestate and it really fattens up the sound! Though there is no EQ built in, the pedal manages to support the different frequencies of my guitarsound perfectly. The sound is fatter, somehow "bigger" and mighty, but also bright and fragile and nuanced.
With this pedal, I can get sounds out of my guitar, I didn't hear before, it's just incredible.
For being the best compressor-sound I've ever heard (Much better than this new Boss or marshall's edward), I give it a 10 for the sound!

I bought the pedal used and it really looks like it and the controls crackle a little bit, but while using a stomp box, you don't callibrate the controls anyway. So I definately would use it live.
