Ease of Use

Quite easy to use, control knobs are similar to the boss DD-3 (level feedback, time, delay and time) except that on this one you have a slider switch to engage the sampler-hold settings. no manual got it used. It`s a rarity this pedal, according to what I`ve found/read about it. Early 80's apparently. The hold and record-play is kinda tricky at times. Won`t sample more than a second, so you might wanna' get a real sampler
Sound Quality

I`m using a Godin Freeway classic, through a early issue ds-1 into a crate gx-65 (my bandit is down & out). It`s kinda noisy using a power supply, it might be because it`s kinda' old, i use it with a boss psa but found out it works best with an old cordless phone power supply That`s right!!, the power supply on these things work great!, low low noise (theyre made for phones...) mos of 'en are 9V. just have to change the plugs polarity to match your pedal and go! batteries won`t last long, it`s kinda hungy on power, like most delays.
The repeats on the longest delay are quite short, even on the highest setting, you won``t get more than 3 repeats, but still, there they are, strangely on lower delay times you can have many more.
Even obtainable is a spacey chorus-echo effect, doesn`t sound too digital, which is good for my taste.
Reliability

Since i got it used, i had to open up and give a little maintenance, was dirty as hell but hey, your supposed to step o 'em. great quality componente inside (mitsubishi, panasonic.) it`s MIJ by the way, much like a Boss, except for the plastic housing, but switch is the same, quality all around. Haven`t gig'd it, but been using it for 3 months, no problems. 20 years and going
