4 knobs - rate, depth, feedback, manual. if you know how to use a flanger, there should be no problems.

i use this in a string of other aria effects exclusively. it is not overly noisy or anything. the it sounds about the same as a japanese boss flanger. very good quality. not tinny or canned. i play through various amps, and always sounds great. i play ethnic shoegazer spacerock and it works great. very psychadelic.

i have had a phase shifter from this series for almost 20 years. i have never repaired it, and it has never failed me. it has seen studios, home, the road, etc, and has always worked just fine. there's a reason i use aria...

these aria pedals are great. i do not know about the new ones, but they look pretty cheep. i know it is not the same company. i have been playing for almost 20 years, professionally for the last 6. you will not go wrong with one of the old arias.
