This is an older stereo digital delay sampler... 1 second of delay! These units are getting harder to find...mine was purchased unused in box on ebay for $30.00. Simple to get a good sound , a bit of learning for sampling...level , tone (delay tone), repeat, Delay time and mode selection(s,m,L,xL,rec.play & play)delay time and sampling.stereo/dry switch...trig./remote switch.remote input jack for footswitch. again...delay sounds are easy...sampling and triggering is something to play with!

Shines! I owned one of these back in the 80's when they first came out and wanted to see if they sounded as good as I remembered! The delay sound is more low /fi and warm like an anolog delay. Very quiet too.Lots of d. time. I have used tape echos roland and Multivox...analog delays...did not think I would have a digital delay in the line up.This thing is fabulas...warm and friendly!!! The tape echo sits for a while!

Arion and it's plastic box! A few of the older jap arion pedals are pretty darm good and overlooked...but that plastic looks like it should break to pieces...suprizing though they do hold up! Sure you need to take some care and not toss um around.I will give it a 9...because they are electronically pretty sound...just don't abuse!

Fantastic value...a few of the older Arions are quite good and dirt cheep! I did see this same pedal advertised in a vintage shop for 145.00. puzzeling because I see them go for much much less...maybe they are becomming harder to find????

3-knobs, very easy for a digital delay

I really like this one. I actually sold mt Boss dd-6 to use this instead. I didn't like the crispy digital sound of the DD-6, I use 13 effects, mostly boutique (Blackstone, NVN, Prescription, and Z-vex), and some Boss stuff (Ph-3, DC-1). This is a very basic Digital delay, but it's warmer than most. My biggest concern was the bypass mode. I use onlt George L's cables, and the bypass on this cheap Arion unit was excellent. I detected absolutely NO TONE Loss, very important!

It's the first time I have trusted a plastic effect, but I have all my Modulation (Boss) effects in a loop I can bypass if anything goes wrong. I had a buddy that used an Arion overdrive that he loved, and he used that for years.

For the $$$ this one is definitely worth a try, as I said, it really does sound better than a stock Boss DD-6.

I just got this pedal a few weeks ago so its pretty new. the first day i could get a really nice delay sound out of it. there is MANY differnt options in terms of lenth of delay, repeats, etc. this has just as many features as boss or ibanez pedals. works just as well IMO too.
