very simple to use.... i dont think anyone needs the manual...it is a bit strange unless you speak japanese, then youll get it just fine! but how hard can it be to make a delay pedal, well, delay..!!!?

Sound Quality : 10
i play a taylor 814ce acoustic>boss tu2 tuner> boss chorus ensemble> boss cs3 compression/sustain>arion digital delay>ibanez tube screamer> plugged into an l.r. baggs direct box straight into the house! the arion digital delay isnt noisy at all, unless you want it to be! it sounds good...lots of nice delay options..something i really appreciated is that when the delay is on, it doesnt affect the clarity of my guitar at all...not even the delays..they sound just like my guitar, that surprised me, especially with a cheaper pedal...most of them make your guitar sound like crap. i really really think if you just want a delay pedal, you cant go wrong with this one...its amazing

Reliability : 7
looks to be very dependable...it is very plastic! but as long as you take care of it, no problems

Customer Support : No Opinion
havent dealt with them yet. if they dont make any more sense than the instruction manual, were hurting!!

Overall Rating : 10
i just use mine occasionally....and when im not using it for the delay, it makes an awesome reverb sound also..id have to get this one replaced if something ever happened to it. ive been playing guitar for 9 years and i really reccomend this pedal. its fun! i bought it because it was cheap, and it surprised me. all it needs is a tap tempo feature! that would make it perfect...otherwise its almost perfect...an incredible deal. arion products need some more recognition, theyre really a best kept secret in the world of guitar effects!

Very easy to use and get a good sound. Manual is kind of wacky in an English-as-a-second-language kind of way. Never used the stereo capability but that might be cool.

Sound Quality : 10
I use mostly single coils and the device itself is not noisy. there is a wide latitude of control. Does not have digital fade out artifacts.

Reliability : 9
I got it used and have had it for several years with no problems what-so-ever. Plastic case, but then I take good care of my stuff and don't really STOMP my stomp boxes.

What? On a used piece? Like, I am so sure.

These are worth serious consideration if found. Don't dismiss Arion products.

IT IS BASIC THREE KNOBS AND A SWITCH FOR LONG OR SHORT DELAY. NO PATCHES TO EDIT. THE IS NO MANUAL. CAN'T UPGRADE AS FAR AS I KNOW

Sound Quality : 6
i have a basic setup from guitar to amps is wahwah analogman sunface
ts-9/808 mod by analog man to the arion digital delay to akai headrush. it gets kinda noisy but not any more then usual. i have a fender deluxe which is a great amp stock bu ti have read that upgrading the tubes will make it better.. it's just cheap very cheap sounding. not that good, my akai sounds better and its only good for looping. but what do you expect for 40 bucks.

Reliability : No Opinion

i play just about everything from dub to old delta blues. i think 7 or 8 years not pro but i like to think i can fake it pretty well. this effect is just to fake sounding imho. i don't think i'd buy another. i owned a korg ax1000g and the delay on that was amazing it could reproduce a tape delay very good but the other effects on it were awful i didn't see a point in keeping it just for the delay plus it sucked tone like a whore. so i sold it i sould go to the pawn shop and buy it back. if anyone here knows where to get a good tape delay that or there abouts hook a brother up with some ifno.

Piece of piss to get a sound. Editing of tone, feedback (length of delay fade-1 to infinity), delay time and delay select - Basically everything from 100ms to four full seconds of delay. there's also a sampler function. No manual as I bought second hand 7 years ago.

Sound Quality : 9
I currently use a Fender USA Strat Big Apple through a Marshall AVT2000 AVT275 amp with a Jim Dunlop Wah-pedal. That's it - oh I occasionally use a DOD Attacker for compression. The DD-4 always sounds great through the effects loop (I previously had a JCM900 100W Combo). I primarily bought to aid me with that Gilmour/Floyd lead delay sound which it accomplishes with ease as well as may other guitar styles I now incorporate into my playing. Much better than the BOSS or DOD versions which I have continually tried.

Reliability : 9
As stated - I bought this 7 years ago (yes -that's SEVEN!) Yes I've still got it - yes it still works (had to replace the footswtich once - fair enough), yes it still sounds great, yes I gig it regularly, yes I will continue to use it. No more to say really....

Never had to deal with them - but I 'll give them a 9 just for building such a fantastic, reliable, quality product.

Overall Rating : 10
I play everything from Pink Floyd to Queen to Frank Zappa to dream Theater and everything in between. The DD-4 does itself justice on pretty much everything. I've been playing about 10 years. If I lost this pedal or if someone stole it - I'd be gutted 'cos they don't make 'em anymore though surely there must be something around these days of comparable quality and standard. If you see one of these, or indeed it's little brother the DD-1, BUY IT IMMEDIATELY. Thanks for reading......
