Simple. Plug guitar in, plug chord out going to amp. Press on pedal to engage tuner, press again to disengage. No issues.

Since I always use silent tuning, I can't speak to sound quality. After all, when on stage, it's not a good idea having the audience be treated to hearing you check your tuning. Silence is golden, as they say.

Although it's plastic. It's quite sturdy. If you're considering it, don't let the plastic sacre you. It's built quite well. And the tuning signal, can you say - stable? I bought it when my multi-effects unit i used, the Digitech RP300, although highly recommended, didn't have a good tuner. And I repeat, the signal is quite stable.

never needed them.

Considering price/performance, I give it a 10. it's a far better value than the Boss stage tuner. Even if I were willing to drop $90 for a pedal tuner, I'd still get this one knowing what I know. Heck, save your money and buy some cables, or something. :-)

Display tells you which note you're close to. Bright green = in tune. Simple.

Other than the occasional "pop" when depressing the footswitch, I haven't noticed any noises from this tuner.

N/A - I heard once that Arion was bought out by Roland, but don't know if that's true...

This is the first and only tuner I've ever owned. Cheap and reliable. If it broke I'd buy another one without hesitation (if they still make them, of course).

This tuner is simple to use and is accurate to +/- 1 cent. (Compare that to the Boss tuner that has an accuracy of +/- 3cents.) When the green light brightens up, you're spot-on. I had no difficulty getting it to hold. The difficulties others have had may be due to the guitar itself or placement in the effect chain. It's probably the easiest tuner I've ever used. It's an excellent tuner: easier to use and more accurate even than the one in my BOSS GT-3.

A lot of pedals and equipment have gone through my setup over the years, but this is one pedal that's a keeper. I use it with numerous electric guitars as well as my Takamine classic.
The pedal has two outputs, one that allows the signal to be heard while tuning, and the other for silent tuning. When I attempt to play with the tuner still monitoring the signal, there is a gentle hum/click as it processes. Also when using the output that allows silent tuning, switching into tuning mode sometimes produces an audible pop. However, when in bypass mode, I've never heard any tone coloration.

I've owned this unit for more than 12 years. (I was actually surprised to find it's still for sale.) Even though the case is plastic, it's quite durable. I've never had any problems with it at all.

I've been playing guitar for over 30 years and have used a lot of different equipment.
I've used analog tuners, tuners in multi-effect units (RP-7 Valve, Zoom 505, GT-3), and other tuners such as the Intellitouch PT-1, which is a fine unit as well. Nevertheless, the Arion Stage tuner comes out near the top. For the money, it's tough to beat.
This little unit is a gem. If I lost it, I'd definitely buy another. It's just so easy to use -- even in dark environments.

It's pretty hard to get the little green dot to stay lit up. Maybe I'm just dumb.

I was a little worried at first, because it's plastic. Then I realized that I'm not going to be jumping on it or anything, because it's a tuner. It hasn't given me any problems there. Apart from that, it freaked out once. It was right before a gig, and the dots were going crazy. I hit it, and it stopped.

It's a mighty good tuner.
